I'm fine with deporting these people

Heck we can't even deport people who are here illegally and someone wants to deport actual citizens?

As for the language appearing on the broadcast they can just give football a TV-14 or TV-MA rating and be done with it, or produce a longer delay that ensures they clean up an profanity from the cameras.

But, let's not force the players to have civil tongues. it's barely football as it is with all these rules.

On the other hand, he's a marquee player in a multi-billion dollar enterprise that actively markets itself to kids (my sons have had Brady Jersey's since they could fit into the smallest size). "Should" it be something about which he is aware? I think it's "fair" to say "yes," just as it is reasonable not to criticize him when he curses up a storm in the heat of the moment.

Fair enough - understood.

PFT ran several articles on that story. I responded that 3 complaints out of 30.9 million viewers means the public doesn't give a F... what Brady says on the field and it was just a media driven story. My comment got promptly deleted from PFT.

The 3 people who filed a complaint have a legitimate case. The broadcaster are 100% to blame for this and need to be held accountable for it.

I remember when I was 5 6 years old my mom n I would walk down the street after church to visit my grandparents. They'd talk polish and or Lithuanian. One day my grandfather came up to me and asked if I'd like to learn those languages n I said sure. I remember my grandfather saying to me the first words I'm going to teach u r sex words and swear words. I turned out okay

Funny responses to this from some of you folks. I dislike cursing as much as anyone, and trust me I have done my share. Brady says it helps him focus on his game. I wish something else helped better, but give me a break. It's what he does, and whatever legit method he uses to improve his game is a good thing. Emotion is a big part of this game. If anyone should be faulted it is the guy broadcasting the game. He knew, certainly after the first one, that Brady was ticked off and fired up that he was going to react like that. How hard would it have been to use a different camera shot? Clicking with his mouse? It is done to create controversy and increase ratings. That is all it is about.

Those of you criticizing Brady for throwing f-bombs on a failed defensive play that would have forced a punt and given Brady one last chance to win the game... are you really freaking serious?

It seems that most of you that are criticizing Brady for cursing on TV are a parent, mostly Dads. Well Dads, tell me this: As a Dad, how often have you stepped on the sharp corner of a lego peice your kid left on the ground and you put your full weight on it and just silently absorbed the pain? Instead of letting rip a curse? If you were able to keep silent with tears streaming down your face... hats off to you - you're a better person than I am. You'll be going to Heaven, guess I'll be going to Hell.

You think his language is bad? Too bad the cameras don't catch how he treats the refs......

I was listening to Rex Ryan admonishing Brady for his language. It was all very tongue-in-cheek, obviously, since Rex has a mouth on him that could burn the ears off a sailor. He was advocating a big fine, probably because he's still salty from paying 100 large for his own profanity session.

Brady doesn't need to yell swears loudly. It's stupid and childish.

As for children will hear it anyways, straw man argument.

Got any good stuff we should say to Gronk?

BTW this father of daughters and young Patriots watching granddaughters has no problems with Brady's cursing on TV. It's the producer's doing that it's shown. The girls will live through it unscathed.

This is insanely f*cking stupid. First off, they're acting as if he did an interview and said "f*ck" 10 times in a row on live television. There is absolutely ZERO F*CKING AUDIO when they show him and just about every other f*cking player mid-game.

Secondly, this is grossly overestimating the perspective of younger kids. Most of them see it as Tom Brady yelling. That's it. Teenagers and mature adults are obviously a bit smarter and put 2 & 2 together and easily recognize the main word(s) he's saying.

Yes, all those f*ck words were on purpose.

They're citizens, you can't deport them. And Brady shouldn't throw a hissy fit complete with bad language on TV. It takes him off his game for one thing. Plus it's unsportsmanlike.

Then why do the people with the cameras, who are creating the broadcast and have broadcast standards to uphold, instead of a football game to play, keep the f**ing camera fixed on the players they know are using words?

can we put them.......in a locked room!?

There actually was a time not too long ago when you could lock people up. The laws have changed... darn it.

If a big problem in your life is that a kid might hear the word(or in this case, lip read it) "f-u-c-k" or "s-h-i-t", then I think you have a very quiet and generally uneventful life. It's not the end of the world if a kid hears a word like that.

A recent televised cursing spree by Tom Brady prompted several viewers to write the Federal Communications Commission and lodge complaints that their lip-reading kids were exposed to the NFL star’s blue language.

Wait a minute...if these kids have never been exposed to these words before, how are they able to do the lip reading and understand what it means ???

I forgot about Rex's tirade and fine. That whole episode was on camera, were there any FCC complaints about that? Or do parents know better than to let their children watch the Jets.

I may have been qualified to have been locked up in the college days...now i am an adult and it sucks
