I guess the good news is that he was only "limited" rather that "did not participate" and thus he apparently has passed part of the concussion protocols.

4. Ask Team A to match Team B's offer but remain on team A's PS. Not likely, since I assume players are gonna want to be on a 53-man roster for a number of reasons. That said, the Pats are known to sometimes pay PS players significantly over usual PS pay to encourage them to stay with the team.

Brady and McDaniels are the primary decision makers of the offense - - BB may swoop in from time to time to change some things or put in his 2 cents - - as he most certainly did at halftime on Sunday.

BB was very open about how the first half of the Miami game was poor coaching. I'd be quite unsurprised if he had some choice words with McDaniels at halftime.

I would agree that BB is not a Bill Walsh, Mike Shanahan or Don Coryell. With that said , BB knows the ins/outs/ups/downs of the Erhardt/Perkins system and knows how he wants to evolve it.

BB defines the game plan. JMD has input and calls the plays on and TB has the option to get out of plays/get into good ones. BB overrules them when he sees fit.

BEFORE Walker was signed by BALT, the patriots could have signed Walker and put Easley on IR. Of course, Walker could have said no.

This is the second player that Belichick let go in a month under somewhat similar circumstances. We should make the presumption that Belichick consider Jones and Walker not worthy of being on the 53.
Instead Belichick chose Fleming and Walker. And last I heard Chris White still wasn't playing.

Some folks were happy to see Tyms playing his first reps on special teams as our gunner. I don't have that kind of sense of humor.

Since Casey Walker played in 5 games earlier this year, he would accrue a season toward free agency by being on a 53-man roster for a 6th game this year. Another reason for him to accept the Ravens roster.

Seriously, I'd rather have Edelman shutdown for the Jets game, fully healthy for the Bills game.
Bills are the ones to worry about. Patriots can still beat the Jets without Edelman.

I've never heard about restrictions on either side in speaking with the other, but it also wouldn't surprise me to hear that the NFL has protocols for such in the rules.

No clue what you mean but the patriots could not prevent the ravens from singing walker. If you are trying to make a point please explain it.

Of course, the patriots could have prevented the Ravens from signing Walker. The patriots could have signed him a week or more earlier.

That is a ridiculous point of view. Yes the Patriots can prevent teams from signing players on their 53 man roster. They cannot prevent them from signing players on the practice squad. That is a rule. They have no more right to that player on the practice squad than any of the other 31 teams.
To say they could have prevented a player being signed off the practice squad by not having him on the practice squad is silly. The Patriots did not want him on the 53 man roster.

What I think MG is trying to say is that Walker might not have been signed by the Ravens IF the Pats had made the decision to put Easley on the IR and promoted Walker earlier. Of course that's perfect 20-20 hindsight since there is no way the Pats could know that the Ravens were interested in Walker, so they could have thought they had more time to make the Easley decision.

What I don't understand is MG's comment of Tyms getting reps as a gunner. I hope he wasn't bemoaning that Walker wouldn't be available to do the jobs.

And why not Tyms? He has good size, speed, and length. He has experience getting off physical coverage, and he seems like a real "try hard" kid. Those are all excellent traits for a gunner.
