So Brady loses to Manning and Rodgers...

"YOU'RE out of order! The whole SYSTEM is out of order!"

(actually, I don't really care that much... I just wanted an excuse to post this clip) ;)

I can live with him being behind Sherman, but Revis ought to pass Joe Haden.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the fan voting. Some of them up there in the voting don't even get close to making the pro bowl. I laughed when I saw Billy Cundiff 4th in pro bowl voting for kickers.

Yeah, but a lot of players have escalators tied to being named to the Pro Bowl, I bet they care about that!
I guess they depend on the other 2/3 of the vote to get it right.

Glad to see there will be so many Browns players representing the AFC. Most deserving. ;)

So most likely we're going to have 5 pro bowlers -
QB Brady
TE Gronk
CB Revis
K Gostkowski
ST Slater

Pretty decent showing and feels about right.
Collins I feel will put in the work this year, and will be voted in next year.

Ninko deserves some kind of recognition

McCourty - Has been the best FS in the AFC.
Vollmer - I cannot think of a RT who has outplayed him in the AFC.
Hightower - I would have to give him some consideration at least.

So McCourty gets snubbed yet again?

Dang, Browns fans are good at this.

Those are the misses I'm seeing too. Hightower needs another year for name recognition, even now you don't hear the commentators gushing over him all that much and like it or not that impacts how the average person votes. I'd imagine Vollmer gets dinged because of how porous the left side of the line has been a lot of the season. And McCourty...I'm 50/50 on him, I think he's had a great season but he's allowed some home runs too, most notably not containing on the bomb to Jordy Nelson to close out the half in GB.

End of the day, I'd like for these guys to get the recognition (and possible monetary bonus) of Pro Bowl nods, but I'd much rather see them playing the first Sunday in February than the last Sunday in January :)
