"To toe, or not to toe--that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The corns and blisters of outrageous footache
Or to take feet against a sea of troubles
And by fondling end them. To die, to step--
No more--and by step to say we end
The toe-ache, and the thousand natural shocks
That the sole is heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep--
To sleep--perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of toe-mares what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this pedometric coil" -**** Cheesespeare

MY PRECIOUS PODIATRIBE

By Robert Frostytoes

Whose toes these are I think I know.
Her feet are in hot heels, bro;
She might not want me sucking there
Or watch me lick, put on a show

My little wife must think I’m queer
To covet feet both far and near
The tabloids know, so much at stake
If Idzik rats, I’ll kick his rear

I love those snacks, a beer, some cake
Yeah, signing Vick was some mistake
I know our fans, fed up, all weep
O’er Woody’s promises so fake

Your toes so lovely, suck them deep
Your shoes I’d really love to keep
To recall forever, your tasty feet
To recall forever, your tasty feet

He loves to play man on the outside and throw exotic blitz packages. Idzik screwed him. He has a top 5 D-Line in Wilkerson, Richardson and Coples, you throw in Revis and Cro instead of getting rid of them and that is a scary defense. Idzik and Ryan are on different wavelengths. Is this Ryan's fault as well, yes, if he could had a good knowledge of the offense and game planned well he would have more power. Just look at the AFC, the only coaches i would take over him are BB, O'Brien, Pagano, Fox, Harbaugh, Reid and Tomlin,
Over the past FOUR YEARS his defenses have been bad. Bottom 3rd in points, near last in takeaways.
As you said he has a good DL and he gets nothing done with it.
If the best you can say is he can't get the job done but would do better with great players, well, duh.

You named 7 of the other 15 coaches.
How can you leave out Doug Marone, who in just 2 years has already had the woeful Bills surpass Ryans Jets and spank them twice? Philbin is a toss up. Pettine is a toss up. Lewis is a much better coach. McCoy is winning, Ryan is 3-11. Whisenhunt has coached a team to a SB.
You are down to comparing him with Gus Bradley and Sporano.

Not sure how you can rate Ryan and his 25-37 record over the last 4 years higher than any of those guys.

I think the two have a lot f respect for each other and that is all-right in my books...you need the horses, we never had the horses but we still had Brady that gave us a chance...hope Rex gets to a spot that he is happy at, even if it is foot locker...

Some of you are going to have to atoene <cough> atone for some really terrible quips. Others may be able to get their foot in the door at some publishing house.

I like their fight song. J-e-t-s jets jets jets! When the crowd does it in unison it's cool.

"You came here for an argument?"

"No, for abuse."

"Good. You're in the right place. For both." :D

No silly boasts, no pumping up his players or getting a goddamn snack, nothing but respect and and a suitable professional competitiveness. Freaky, really. I hardly recognized him.

Interesting things happen when Rex toes the line instead of putting his worst foot forward.

Rex will be fine once he is cured of GreenBeanitis.

Imagine some college football players will soon have GreenBeanitis ...

Their only hope to not get it will be some of the other 31 teams will draft them.

Rex's toes have Gang Green. Soon though he'll be a successful amputee. :D

Monosyllabic spelling is about all a Jets fan can handle though. And they can't chant it without someone spelling it first.
That's right. They originally were named the Airplanes but it was just too complex.

Whisennhut is not a better coach than Rex. It's honestly not even close. Rex Ryan will unleash his wrath, when he ends up with Atlanta next season. He can't develop an offense or QB, but if you give him a veteran QB and a good offense he'll win,

good for him, i would expect nothing less than the very best. Jets are tough. J-e-t-s, jets jets jets!
Smart Man. Easily one of the most knowledgeable posters here. Keep up the good work, kenny!

J-e-t-s jets, jets jets!

He is exactly that, a bad coach. What does he do well? His offenses are inept, he ruins every QB he touches, he drafts poorly, he's under .500 for his career, and his defenses have been bad for the last four years.

The guy lives off of having had success several years ago with stacked defenses that were put together by someone else.

All we've heard is that it's the fault of Tanny/Schotty/Idzik/Marty/Woody. It's amazing.

Rex Ryan drafts? No, he doesn't. Mike Tannebaum and Idzik have made the picks for the Jets. How can you say Rex ruined Geno? Geno Smith's footwork is to terrible, he can't take snaps under center.

uhhh your supposed to give your best every week rex, maybe thats why your team sucks.

I'm actually a big Fan of Rex Ryan, and've defended'm here repeatedly...But are you kidding me??

Rex Ryan is a damned good DC, and I'll even say that he's got Potential as an Head Coach, however disastrously things are ending in New York.

Remember: Things didn't end that well for Mad Bill the first time around.

He, too, was hamstrung by bad Ownership.
