New Season

Great road trip so far.

And even when the impotent Ruins manage to score 4 times, our $8M goalie gives up 7(?!?).

Then again, he does have half of the defense in front of him comprised of the non-NHL-calibre
"talent" of RotMan, Fartkowski & Miller.

Rask was pretty much player of the game in the SJ game. Made a ton of incredible saves. Not his fault his team gave no effort

A pretty sad indictment then when you allow 7 goals and your best player is still your goalie.

I would say that it's time to start trading over-priced vets (& Subban) for picks & Forward prospects,
but that would ass-ume that we had a GM who could actually do something with those picks…
…which we don't.

this team is officially a joke. I know it was Chicago. But again..they ONLY PLAYed 20 MIN. A game is 60 min. Horrible effort in first 2...great effort in 3rd. That doesn't cut it...

Make a trade and fire chirelli

bergy slashed and looks to be hurt bad...and yet no call yet again..Bs get ****ed every year with getting the least ammount of PPs...every ******* year

If he's out it's over. I think it's over right now anyways...

EDIT: Back in in OT...phewww

im with felger. its time to trade rask. that would free up a lot of money and the bruins back up goalies always play well. if im the gm i trade rask. cant believe i agree with felger but this time i do.

I am never with felger..even if it does make sense. Keep Rask. You can trade other pieces. For start Kelly with that stupid contract

i hear ya. but they need a major shake up and serious cap relief. i dont want to send anymore pieces away then they have to. they wont get much of anything for kelly. i would rather trade rask instead of multiple players from the roster.

Send everyone for Hall or Eberle or my favorite Evander Kane. Jets need D. We need Kane and i want him bad. If you would rather trade Rask our best player..then "multiple suck players" then.....ya....

@NickGossNESN: Tuukka Rask has a .928 SV% at even strength in the last 10 games. The Bruins are 2-5-3 in that span.

Trading rask would be the dumbest thing this franchise could do...but leave it to felger to bring it up...

Send Oilers Spooner (not Koko), Bart (not Morrow), Subban, and a 2nd for Hall

On if Boston is trying to get something done on the trade front:

“Boston is really trying. I mentioned this on the morning show yesterday. They are really trying to do something. And I heard today what they’re also trying to do is not only have they contacted teams about making trades to add, they’ve also contacted teams who have cap room and said, ‘You know what? If we add something, we might need to get rid of something to make it work. Are you guys willing to help us in that way if we help you?’

“So I think Peter Chiarelli is having multiple conversations with multiple teams to try to work and see if there’s a way he can get things done. I think he’s very active. I think they’re very concerned about the way they’re going and I think they know if they don’t give themselves a pump-up sometime soon they could really be in trouble.”

On what we’d be talking about in terms of cap relief for Boston:

“Matt Bartkowski is a guy they tried to move a couple of times. Chris Kelly is someone they tried to move a couple of times. Sometimes maybe you do it with a draft pick or you try to find a way to make incentives. I think it’s probably those kinds of moves. Or it might even be something bigger, depending on what they get back in return. I think it all depends on what kind of salary they have to take on. I think if they look at it and say, ‘Look, if we get this particular player, we may have to give up something here to make the numbers work.’ And I think they’re talking a lot of potential deals like that.”

if you want to get something good you have to give up something good. you arent going to get much in return trading as you say multiple suk players. they arent going to get anything that will change the team in a meaningfull way for bart and kelly except a bunch of pucks and sticks. and i dont want hamilton going anywhere. hes young cheap and the future of the bruins defense. try and look at it from another teams perspective. trading rask would should net the team a haul and free up a huge amount of much needed cap room. i hate to agree with felger. i hate him. but i agree with him on trading rask. they cant get by the habs with rask so whats the point. plus i like subban.

if rask gets traded i am done with this team. What a stupid move that would be

One of the best goalies in the league....we want traded...

Trade Loui for a prospect and a 1st rounder. He does nothing anymore or throw him in a deal for someone

imagine if they traded him over the summer. they would still have iginla and boychuk and still have cap room. the more i think about it the more i like the idea.

One of the problems with trying to acquire an impact (preferably RH) forward is that Chiapet has
Nobody in the system that other teams want. If he had, then he could insist that dead cap weight like
Chris Kelly & Fartkowski be included in any trade.

What a horrible corner into which this incompetent boob has painted the franchise.

Some have mentioned David Krejci and Tuukka Rask as possible trade assets in a deal of that magnitude, but they both have strong no-trade clause language in their contracts...rask isn't getting traded....
