Better win SB this year. Unlikely we will be #1 seed next season.

Keep the core of this defense together and Brady/Gronk healthy, and we are easily in the run.. our window is still open..

If there's one absolute that I've learned to be true after being a fan since dinosaurs roamed the earth is that accurately speculating on strength of schedule a season ahead of time is a fool's errand. Hell, trying to do it in August is useless. Teams change, injuries occur, even perennial mutts like the Jags and Titans sometime improve dramatically. That said, the home slate looks soft right now, but we'll see.

One positive is we don't have to play on that ****ty Fedex field. Unfortunately we have to play on that even worse field @ NRG Stadium. It's a little premature to determine which game will be tough and easy but as always road games will be tough.

Yeah that field in Houston is awful, hopefully they change it. Although I don't think they can, its in trays that the move in and out of the sun, the trays just don't fit together right.

Meh, doesn't strike me as all that difficult compared to typical seasons. Eliminating the AFCE games from the equation, the AFCS is the second worst division in football, the NFCE has two tough opponents but two cakewalks. As far as comparing against what we've seen this season, Houston, Indy and the Giants are no worse than the @IND, @MIN, @SD games, and are @DEN and @DAL any worse than @KC and @GB this season?

Then home...there isn't a single game comparable to the Denver matchup, I'd put Philly on par with the Detroit matchup and the AFCN winner on par with Cincy.

End of the day it looks like a reasonably easy schedule for a division winner. No Seattle, no GB, no NFC West and playing the worst AFC division...another 13-3, 14-2 type season IMO.

I see 6 primetime games:

Denver, Dallas, NY Giants, Philly, Thursday night against the Jets and a monday night against an AFC North team

Too bad they couldn't do it like the University of Phoenix Stadium does it. The entire field is one big tray and it's moved out on rollers outside the stadium so it can get the sun and be watered. All automated I believe. Their field always looks great.

Well, that's a college field. They have the money. ;)

That's a joke.

University of Phoenix bought the naming rights to the stadium. Like all the others such as 'Gillette', it was for the advertising value.

The joke is that the University of Phoenix has no football team!

We'll likely go 11-5 or 12-4 as defending SB champs next year.

I won't mind.

Thanks for the help Az. I've watched one, maybe two, college games in the last 10 years, and not many in the 10 years before that. I got sick of the NCAA a very long time ago. Color me exposed.

13-3, lose to a divisional team, a good team and a complete WTF game. That's a pretty good formula to work off. But until they lose a game, 19-0 baby!

+ there's still the rest of this season to play first, jumping the gun here by predicting next seasons record.

considering that it is an on-line University, it might make fielding a team difficult;)

Well, things change year to year - this year, I initially thought we had an easy schedule, but then San Diego and Detroit decided to be pretty good, and we got KC in KC.

That schedule next year certainly doesn't look daunting - but it also looks like the games at the Razor won't be worth watching...good grief, Jacksonville, Washington and Tennessee in Gillette?

I wonder,if they will get the Thanksgiving day game at Dallas?
