Dolphins: Pats used illegal formaton. Sending grievance to NFL?

Given the final score, if I were a member of the Miami franchise, player, coach, front office, etc., I would be embarrassed to be remotely connected to this story. What a commentary on their collective pride.

Looking at the still photo, Collins is clearly off the line of scrimmage. Maybe his foot is close, but that could be the angle of the photo as well which makes it look close.

So....Tannehill >>>>>>>>>>> Brady??

what is the reason behind such an estrous like complaint?

Right that blocked FG had nothing to do with Collins vertical of 41.5 inches (or perhaps it was that combines with his 11'7" braod jump plus his 6'3" height plus his raw athleticism). I mean there must be some other excuse because the Dolphins did everything a team could do to make that FG.

Darren Rizzi, special team for Dolphins crying foul.

But, he has been doing a terrible job even before this game. Probably wanted to feed his ego that he knows more than the refs (an illegal formation). My guess is he is sent packing with Philbin, come end-of-regular-season.

They should get in line. We're still waiting for the 2001 Rams to figure out how the "Greatest Show..." could have possibly been beaten by the lowly Pats. ....Kurt, Marshall?

The NFL has come down heavy handed and asked that the records reflect the new final score: 38-16. Dolphins have planned a victory parade Thursday.

Thanks for pointing that out now, lolPhins. Now, if they WERE doing something wrong, BB can coach them out of it rather than having it bite us like in the Jets game #nostoneunturned #roadtoXLIX

If you look really, really closely, and slow the film down, and zoom in about 10x times on his left foot then you can see.....

That he's not even f****** close to the line.

Whatchoo talkin' about, Lolphins? :D

From reading the links, it appears the complaint is all based on HOW FAR OFF the LOS Collins is at the snap.

So #1: I dont know: what is the definition of being a 'down-lineman' versus 'off-the-line'?
How many yards is that exactly?

#2: Still photos are a bit tough to use as certifiable evidence one way or another unless you get one right at the snap of the ball. Could collins have moved up closer to the line before the snap ? - possible.

either way, even if they were right (count me doubting).... after that kind of beat-down it is very whiney.

Remember, On to Cincinnati???

STFU Miami and move on..

Upon further review Jamie Collins socks were not properly aligned. Game, set, match Dolphins, a well as a first round bye. And for that matter a second, third, and fourth round bye as well. Awwww hell just say screw it and break out the golf clubs boys, it will just give Ross more time to hire a new coach and GM.

No way the NFL admits to two mistakes in a week!

I'll give the 7 point back.... we still win.

Case closed.
