Felger: You're right to take division titles for granted

This was the opening segment on Felger & Mazz today by Felger...

-How he hates watching the Patriots blow out AFC East teams
-These games are completely meaningless and not enjoyable to watch
-We are learning nothing about the Patriots from these December games
-There is no actual "momentum" being gained by these last 3 games
-These last games are just a preseason to bookend the season
-Watching bad teams play the football is painful and he wish he could turn the game off if he could

He spent the whole time complaining and whining about how boring it is. This is how he opens up a show as the Patriots maintain the #1 seed in a blowout win.

This is literally the most popular sports talk radio show in Boston right now. I don't think there's another city in the country that has a sports talk show like this. Where after big, important wins, the main host complains about it being too boring.

You're listening, aren't you?

I listened to it and he totally glosses over what Buffalo just did to Greenbay. His point has no real basis in reality.

Jets and Dolphins both had GB damn near beat too. Idiot Jets call a TO and takes an unbelievable 4th down pass by Rodgers to best the Fish. We played em worst than anybody in our division. Yeah, the division stinks.

After the KC game, Felger was all ready to go into Pats-hating overdrive with the "Brady/Pats are DONE!" take. He just couldn't wait to do it. Well, when Brady and the Pats didn't start sucking after all, I'm sure he was thoroughly pissed. He wants the Pats to suck SO BADLY that when he got the tease and it didn't happen, he doubled down on being Felger.

Really, who listens to this guy? Are there really THAT many out-of-state haters here who eat this crap up? There can't be.

Like a sucker, I keep coming back on the drive home thinking he can't be THIS bad after a game like this, right? And then I last five minutes of him and Mazz and switch it off.

Can we get a feature that allows us to ignore threads with certain keywords in the title (and ys, I know I can do this myself).

Felger would be my first entry.

What is more surprising is that Pessimistic Pete thought that this was being pessimistic. :D

Yet here you are.....in a Felger thread. The lure of Felgie is all-powerful. Accept it

I'm more likely to spit out pea soup than click that link. I'm not going for the 360 degree head turn.

Felger is hilarious. Angry at the Patriots for beating a team they are supposed to beat. Then if they beat a good team at home, it's null and void because it was in Gillette. Let's just play Denver in Denver 16 games in a row so Felger doesn't get upset.

I don't get people who like Felger. The only ones I can imagine in that set are the haters. The Belichick haters, the Danny haters, the Sox haters, etc. It continually surprises me that there are enough of them to make the F&M show the leader.

Yet......you lurk .....then engage.......lurk....then engage. Powerless to fight off the Force of the Felgie. Come across to the light.....Saint Maz awaits you. Stop lying to yourself. It took me 35 years to admit I bought a Kiss album when I was 14. Honesty will set you free. The Cap is truly Crap.

Didn't click. Have to listen to enough sphincters pass wind without adding the yapping F-stick to the mix.
