At least according to Terrance Knighton, anyway:

“It doesn’t matter what happens. At the end of the year, we’re hoisting that trophy,” Knighton said. “I don’t care if New England doesn’t lose again. I don’t care where we have to play. I don’t care who our opponent is. We’re not going to be satisfied until we hoist that trophy. So if we’ve got to go to New England [in the playoffs] and win somewhere we’re not used to winning, we’re going to make it happen.”

We might as well all stop playing, and start planning for next year. :(

never heard of this kid...

He is pretty good actually. I don't have a problem with his confidence albeit fruitless. The plays are made on the field and I'm not sure they have the horses.

Remember Brian Holloway claiming they were going to rip the orange bowl apart brick by brick in 85? The Pats did just that and ended the streak.

Thanks for the self-jinx, pot roast.

Already posted on the corkboard @ 1 Patriot Place.

Maybe best not to say anyway at all. I am sure he was asked something which brought this up.

Denver is a good team though and that is clear. They handled SD with a hobbled Manning.

I wouldnt say they "handled" SD. if San Diego wasnt so inept on offense they couldve easily won that game. 2 missed field goals in the red-zone and two costly interceptions in times they could have scored.

Broncos just keep winning, but they seem to be stumbling into the playoffs wheras early in the season they looked unstoppable

That sounds more like determination than a guarantee. Wording aside I'd be fine if I heard one of our players talking like that.

I agree. Screw the donkies but move along nothing to see here.

If and when the Pats beat the Broncos in the playoffs, I just hope the Pats don't rub these comments in Pot Roast's face too much. I kinda want the Pats to sign him in the offseason.

Agree here. What is he supposed to say? "Our quarterback is probably going to fire multiple picks against some upstart wild card team in the divisional round and we'll probably lose in embarrassing fashion"? While that scenario is likely, you don't want to hear your guys talking like that. He should be saying these things and he should believe them.

Uh, it's pretty disrespectful of him to say that the Denver offense will ever see the field for Manning to throw those picks.
