It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I remember the feature on Drew before the Chiefs game earlier in the year... maybe it's just me but when they were talking to Drew about Brady I detected a really tiny bit of envy there...
Or maybe envy isn't the right word but... definitely sounded like a little "something" there...
If Brady leaves on his own terms ala Elway riding off after winning a Super Bowl, absolutely......One of the prevailing urban legends is that Drew was gracious about losing his job and was supportive of Brady after it occurred. He wasn't, and I don't think I would have/could have been either. He was bitter and jealous, but given the situation I think most people would be. If/when Jimmy G. takes over for Brady, does anyone think Tom will be gracious and supportive of him?
That's not the scenario I was referring to. I was referring to a situation just like Bledsoe's where Brady gets hurt, Jimmy G. takes over, is successful and Tom's out of a job here. Just to be clear, once Brady took over for Bledsoe, I didn't want Drew back starting. If Brady leaves on his own terms ala Elway riding off after winning a Super Bowl, absolutely......
Drew's personal pride took a hit losing his job to Brady and then getting traded. I think he's really over it but keeps a small chip on his shoulder half in jest.I remember the feature on Drew before the Chiefs game earlier in the year... maybe it's just me but when they were talking to Drew about Brady I detected a really tiny bit of envy there...

Give Drew credit, he almost got the Bills to the playoffs in 2004... the Bills. To think Drew also lost his job to JP Losman
Bledsoe may very well have 2 SB rings if Parcells gave a fack about beating the Packers in the SB...
Honey Boo Boo would be fun too.
Seriously, you want Mr. Throw-Off-The-Back-Foot to be giving QB advice to OUR personnel?
I love Drew - - great person and great talent.....but lousy fundamentals and on-field decision making.
It would be better if he joined Andre Tippett in Community Relations or something similar, but no, keep him away from our QB's please.
Bledsoe's coaching attributes:
He's tall. He's got a strong arm...

Drew could have been a lot worse than he was, and he wasn't bad enough to undermine much of anything except his own enjoyment of the championship run.
Yep. The essence of his coaching advice would be "Just sling it."
i dont get the negativity towards bledsoe in this thread. they dont get that first superbowl without him in the afc championship game in 01. i seem to remember and nice td pass to david patton in that game. its not easy coming off the bench cold in a afc championship game. and he threw for alot of yards and tds while he was a patriot.
