Patriots 2014 AFC East Champions

How do you feel about a VICTORY!

Can't believe no one started a thread on this. Although expected it's still exciting when we win the Division. Just one more step to the Superbowl. We're still in the Lead for HFA and the way this team plays really makes me like their chances. This team is extremely resilient as has been shown week after week. If one faction of the game comes up small the others pick up the slack. This defense is almost otherworldly. No second half TDs in 5 games! Who does that? The offense is playing well and Brady finally is not forced to carry the team on his back. He can have an off day and we can still win.

Lets keep it going strong.

I'm never a fan of the AFC East champion shirts (first world problems, lol), but damn, I like the look of those shirts...

Has anyone seen iapatsfan lately? Seems that clown only shows up when the team loses.

I know the ultimate goals are larger but it still absolutely never gets old.

Savor it because we'll never see anything like it again.

He's been hiding in the political forum. You wont see him again until next season unless we lose in the playoffs

Felger riding hightower about who came up with that slogans and pats seem to never come up with these slogans etc. Guess what he and squeaky will be talking about this week.

This is something that won't really be properly appreciated by either fans or media for another ten or twenty years.

In today's NFL the combination of a real salary cap, free agency after just four years, and a draft based on inverse order when player's careers are so very short - there is simply no way that any team is supposed to have this consistent run of success.

Other teams in the salary cap era put together runs of three or four good years before falling back with a losing season. Fourteen consecutive seasons in which no other team has had a better regular season record than the Patriots is unimaginable.

Sometimes I think if one of the other teams finally win the AFC East, they (not the Pats) would celebrate with champagne, fireworks and a parade

BB and TB have won the AFC East with all kinds of teams. More than any Pats team I can remember, however, this one seems to have the personnel to match up with just about anyone. There's still a lot of football left to be played, but this team feels different.

Eh, win the SB and we talk. Yes it is taken for granted but if somehow manning wins another SB because NE couldn't beat them or gets upset in the playoff this won't mean anything to me.

Since TB took over in 2001, the Pats have never been swept by another AFCE team.

One Step Closer To Ultimate Goal.

Winning the AFCE is overrated. All the Pats have to do is have a better record than the Bills, Jets and Fins.

The real victories and accomplishments come in the playoffs.

The only reason those teams don't do better each year is playing in the same division as the Pats. If the Jills didn't see us already, the Ravens would be chasing them for a playoff birth.

The greatness of our team skews the division.
