Pats players agree: Collins is a freak

From Darrelle Revis:

“Yeah, he’s freakish, he’s really freakish,” cornerback Darrelle Revis said. “It’s crazy some of the stuff he does at practice and even in the games sometimes. He’s always making plays, and he’s always around the ball. Probably could play safety, man. If he had that opportunity to play, because he’s so versatile, and he’s fast — he’s not slow. He can run. I definitely agree with all the other guys. He’s probably the most freakish athlete I’ve been around in recent years, yeah.”

That says a lot, for me. But I also liked this bit, from Jonathan Casillas:

“Well, of course everyone talks about his athleticism, but his knowledge of the defense is up there,” linebacker Jonathan Casillas said. “He can talk the game along with the best of the best — you know, the Hightowers and the McCourtys of the world. His football IQ is pretty high. People always talk about his athleticism, which is pretty evident, but his football IQ is up there too.”

Freakish athletiicsm + high football IQ + work ethic = potential for greatness.

It seems we have some smart, or at least football-smart, LBs.

Its just too bad we wasted our pick on this guy because we all knew LB wasnt a need and he is only a sub LB who cant play on 1st or 2nd down:rolleyes:

Well, you can believe what you want but we already have out on the highest and most absolute authority that Collins was a lousy pick and is no more than a back up in the NFL. They could have had Paterson, frigging Belichick sucks.

Not bad for a guy who iampatsfan labeled the slowest LB in the NFL. BTW, has anyone seen iampatsfan for the last three months?

but he was suchhh a horrible pick..why would we ever pick him where we did with that not being our need? ugh........

I will argue that Collins really isn't that freakishly athletic. My proof? The Pats drafted Tavon Wilson in the second round in 2012. Need I say anymore? Case closed.

No way man, this guy is a total bust. I read it on Pats Fans.com

Eating crow. That jack wagon doesn't deserve to post about the pats

WHo is this guy? i don't remember his name or posing..was he around for a while or no?

He shows up after the pats usually lose. His name is iapatsfan. I usually see his posts in the political forum, but whenever the pats lose or aren't beating teams soundly, he comes and posts all his negative bs. He distinctly called Collins a bust and I believe the slowest lb in the nfl. The dude was an idiot
