Cam Newton in Car Wreck. - Same Back Injury As Romo's Earlier This Year

OK, here's how bad Global Associated "News" is. That 76-year-old Audi driver really gets around!

PRO FOOTBALL NEWS:

THIS STORY IS STILL DEVELOPING...

A spokesperson for the Kazakhstan highway safety authority(HSA) has confirmed that Peyton Manning has broken both of his legs in a traffic altercation. He has been transported via ambulance to a local Kazakhstan hospital for treatment, and the full extent of his injuries are not known at this time, however, both of his legs were visibly broken and not life threatening according to sources.

The accident involved a 2012 BMW driven by Peyton Manning and a 76 year old female driver in a 2010 Audi. The driver of the Audi was issued a citation for failing to stop at a red light before striking the vehicle driven by Peyton Manning at a high rate of speed.

Team spokespersons could not be reached for comment at this time.

Almighty and merciful Father, thank you for watching over Cam. By the power of your command, restore strength to Cam's body and joy to his spirit, so that in his renewed health, he may bless and serve you, now and forevermore. In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

(sorry for getting all religious... very glad he's not more seriously injured)

Good thing he is okay ... one never knows. ... truck looked a bit weak in the roof area - close call.

Hope he was wearing clean underwear ... something parents used to say for some odd reason.

Dude, calm the f*ck down. The story just broke. If anyone took the innocuous post to heart and ran with it, that's on them. There is always some misinformation and exaggeration whenever a story breaks. That's just the nature of breaking news. I didn't even post any strong convictions one way or another. Go sit your ass down and calm down. The f*ck is your problem attacking me with such vitriol as if I'm the only one who posted about the rumor of broken legs.

I'm so sorry. You told me a thing or two there.

What was I thinking? By all means, please continue to post misinformation from unattributed reports in the future for all breaking news.

Again, my apologies.

Just awful, hope he makes a full recovery.

Now something that just makes me sick. I went to Pro football talk and almost all the comments are wishing him well and there are people clicking on thumbs down to well wishes for a man injured in a car accident. Why would anyone do that?

The anonymity of the internet has sadly revealed the depths of darkness of souls that some people reach. I avoid internet comment sections like the bubonic plague and when I don't I instantly regret it and usually weep for humanity after reading them.

You two should get together for a drink sometime. :)

I don't get all these well-wishes for Cam Newton, one of the biggest a-holes in all of sports, and that's saying something.
I'm glad he's not gravely injured, I suppose, but I would shed not even one tear if he were.

Well, again, not to get too religious, but I believe God calls us to pray for everyone in need, and as it says at the end of each decade of the Rosary, "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of your mercy." (emphasis added)

I would think that, to use your delicate phrase, an 'a-hole' would fall into that category. Again, JMHO.

:)

Honestly, people are probably doing it for karma purposes more than anything. Good juju to wish someone well and all...

I'm loothening up my arm.

I'm waiting for someone to come in and make a snarky comment about this being 2014 and not believing that there are people who believe in karma/juju/ etc...

Yeah ... I can't see being happy that someone gets injured in an accident - hope he recovers 100%.

However - when Cam is better I hope he gets a good case of anal warts ... he is an a-hole.
