I know a lot of you hate Skip Bayless, but Im fairly confident he has sources close to Tom Brady. He made a comment on first take the other day which can be seen here

Skip to 5 minutes if you don't like the show or are short on time. He says Tom Brady wants to beat Denver in Denver. This was probably a comment made before the season, not a comment made while New England has the number one seed in hand with 3 divisional games to go, but regaurdless im curious as to who is feeding him these juicy nuggets. He has also made a comment on the show recently that Tom Brady doesn't think Amendola is willing to tough it out through minor injuries and isn't overly impressed with his football IQ. Any thoughts?

I think Skip shouldn't Brady speak for Brady (I know he's a huge fan of TB but those remarks don't cast TB in a positive light or in a manner in which Brady would speak to the media).

So, I imagine if TB knows who that contact is (if there is one) will now have noticeably less information than they used to.

As for playing Denver maybe it was just the assumption that Denver wins the #1 seed. I'm pretty sure TFB cares more about making it to the SB than the route/teams/locations it takes to get there and would be perfectly content to HFA through the playoffs (I sure I would).

Seriously? Haven't you noticed that Bayless always speaks his opinion as if its fact?

Best Bayless ever...2007 and he's screaming about a huge mistake Coughlin made in letting the Giants play hard against the Pats in the season closer. "Worst coaching decision ever!"

Then goes on to predict that the Giants have no chance in the playoffs because they didn't rest their players.

interesting thing about media pundits and how I tend to view them. without data to back it up, they are just another person with an opinion.

skip baseless

I wouldn't call anything to do with that "best".
I wish he was right on this one.

Skip also told us that Tebow was head and shoulders better than Brady. He is not a reporter, but an entertainer. His job is not to be right. His job is to be controversial and get people to either click on the link or stay tuned through the Old Spice commercial.

I could never come out and make outrageous claims/invent garbage stories like these journalists and media personalities do. At what point does one sell out personal integrity and professionalism for numbers?

For the most part I agree, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have sources. Not everything he says is trolltastic, though most is.

I have no sauces and I would bet Brady, a fierce competitor, would love to whomp Denver in Denver. I bet it was so before Manning. Any fan of the team knows 1. The team has always struggled against Denver 2. Brady has had some of his worst games against Denver, a 4 interception game is notable. Winning against a tough opponenet on the road and Peyton on the road...

Behold the power of the almighty dollar.

I made a decision either rightfully or wrongfully that integrity and what I thought of myself mattered to me more than money. That said, I was willing to back myself that I would be successful in my chosen field but still, I simply can't abandon my personal principles as readily as these jokers.
