Sad news, hope Cam is okay. Car accidents are nasty (lost a best friend that way). Prayers go out to him and his family, and anyone else involved of course.

Fingers crossed that everyone involved makes it out okay. Car wrecks are no joke.

Do yourself a favor and wait for official reports out of official news sources. You could probably find a "report" on Twitter that Newton authorized a nuclear strike on Pakistan before his car accident.

Early reports are that he broke both legs. That sucks for the kid. He should be good to go for the start of next season, even if he misses TC.

It sucks for Carolina because they are still mathematically in the hunt for a playoff berth.

I have seen pictures of him smiling on the floor before being loaded on the stretcher. He will be ok.

Just awful, hope he makes a full recovery.

Now something that just makes me sick. I went to Pro football talk and almost all the comments are wishing him well and there are people clicking on thumbs down to well wishes for a man injured in a car accident. Why would anyone do that?

Yet another example of why the Twitter-based 24/7 "news cycle" is not a good thing. Numerous reports now coming out that he's fine.
