Solder had a rough night
He really did improve after that awful first half. Ingram was just destroying him the first half and he was able to mostly right the ship in the second

Yeah, you're right, my bad, just let my emotions overtake my ability to think clearly at the time. I'll be more sensible in future.

Fixed your post for you. Don't mention it.

I'm nervous about the Dolphins game

Our o-line is playing pretty bad right now and the Dolphins gave us huge problems in week 1

I know a lot has changed since then (Gronk at 100%, more Tim Wright, Stork at Center, no Devey) but I'm still worried
This is the exact point t
Where the Dolphins start to fall apart. Don't get me wrong the fins could play us real tough but they have had three straight bad games from their defense and if the pats O-line can play better then we might just run all over them

Every time Ayers makes an impact play.. which is pretty much every single game since traded so far. Titans fans took one step closer to the ledge.

Look, just because he couldn't get on the field for that stacked Titans defense...

I have never really been a big fan of Bolden's but he has made himself a pretty valuable special teams player. His block was really the first big play of the night for the Patriots. Huge play which affected the tactical and territorial battle immensely for the rest of the game and should have been capitalised on by the Offense.

Also I find Blount so frustrating. He can be a punishing back once he gets to the second level and is very dangerous on cutbacks but he takes a little time to get going and he is not a very good short yardgae back. The coaching staff obviously has a better idea of these things but I personally would have liked Gray to have received more snaps and also to see more of Develin when we run the ball. Since Fleming has been injured, the run game has been less impressive.

Caveat: having said that, this is all coming from my untrained eye.

I don't hate the Chargers they are a likeable team and I do like McCoy.
To Chris Collinsworth saying Mcdaniels will be a head coach again I don't see it I see him taking over here one day and being very comfortable.
I see the offense struggling and the play calls on offense have been very transparent. I don't see a team backing the truck up to Josh I think a head coach in this league should be Greg Williams that D defense is really playing ball.
if the o-line isn't blocking it doesn't matter what he calls

Per Reiss, Bolden was in for one play on offense. Per my eyes, it was the Gronk TD.

Great win.

I think this is what our playoff games will look like. Defenses are going to overload the middle short/intermediate area of the field, double Gronk, and force Brady to throw the rock outside or deep. Either our run game really has to get going or we have to stay in a no huddle fast break offense to keep defenses basic.

- Solder looked awful in the first half. Our interior OL for for the most part was pretty bad. Brady was under pressure and they couldn't get a decent push for our running game.

- Best game by our DL all year. Siliga showed why he BB wanted him back. Branch looked great and Vince was Vince.

- Collins IMO was our best player tonight. Made a ton of great plays. Our LBs were great considering they were missing Hightower.

- Patricia called a great game. Timely blitzes, great disguises, and stayed aggressive all game.

- We have to sign Revis to a longer deal.

He still struggled. I think a large part of the seen improvement was because Brady got the ball out quicker. Solder was still pushed around a lot and from time to time looked like he was on roller blades. He really struggled with planting his feet and holding his ground when the DE got better leverage.

Tyms! We need a deep threat if we lock up homefield I would like to see more exploring with getting him involved In the snaps.

They should run Gray early, then Blount when the defense tires. Seems obvious, anyway. it seems sometimes they have to unveil their different packages as if it's a government requirement. "Now we will insert our empty backfield set and throw a bunch of 3 yard passes under extreme pressure because we practiced it all week, even though a balanced offense seems to work better. "

Provided someone tapes his trap shut when he's around officials.

Defense won this game.

The Defense just about dominated in a NE Super Bowl Championship caliber defensive style that I have not seen for a long time. SD could not run anywhere 53 yards and though Rivers was able to make some plays in the passing game, SD was abysmal on 3rd down 4 - 13.

It's a win and at the end of the day that's all that matters. I'm happy to see that we won't give up no matter what doesn't go our way we keep fighting.

Something I haven't seen mentioned (sorry if I missed it). As anemic as the Offense was for most of the game it was really exciting to see Brady run for 2 first downs in the game. Its rare enough to see him do it once but he did it twice. I can't say it enough but I am so glad that Brady is being more mobile. In the past he'd have wide open lanes in front of him and wouldn't move but more and more this season we're seeing him capitalize on those opportunities. Sometimes it is crucial to keep the drive alive and a small QB scramble for 3 or 4 yards can make a world of difference. Hope he continues.
