A few things. The Pats have plenty of money next year to pay McCourty without having to touch the contracts of Wilfork, Mayo or Amendola.

The Patriots already have Revis under contract for next year, essentially. They won't pay Revis a $25M salary. However, you can expect it to be turned into a 2-3 year extension/re-structure.

The thing is, to me, if you're going to give up any chance of surprise or changing plays, shouldn't you be making more than three yard pass attempts? and, obviously, when you're making the defense look like wimps by running right through them, why stop and run a bunch of pass plays that are DOA instead of punching it in from the two. Starting to get a rhythm late in the 4th quarter will lose you more games than it wins.

Jamie Collins is a beast and our defense looks awesome even before we get some guys back.

Sometimes I feel like TFB needs to take over the game himself and ignore McDipstick as he is very stubborn.

I'll take a road win, any way they can get it.

Felger is awful by design. Somewhere along the line someone figured out that going irrationally negative gets people to listen. It gets them fired up rather than positive coverage. Felger is basically the radio version of an internet troll...and as such you should pay him (and YARM) no mind.

The Pats are one of the best teams in the Red Zone. They had ONE off game..

what bothers me is the almost invisible Amendola and THE invisible Tim Wright in this game. OK, so McD decides that passing every down is the way to win, you mean that a Tim Wright DOESN'T get any touches?? Amendola 3-7 yards???

Jonas Gray had two touches for 9 yards...WhenTF are they going to let HIM out of the doghouse?

I want to see them pound the ball on Miami and Buffalo at home. Get this HFA entrenched. No more nutty perfesser McD offensive specials. Play dominating FUNDAMENTAL football on offense.

I'm nervous about the Dolphins game

Our o-line is playing pretty bad right now and the Dolphins gave us huge problems in week 1

I know a lot has changed since then (Gronk at 100%, more Tim Wright, Stork at Center, no Devey) but I'm still worried

Agreed. I made a post in the game thread to the same effect.

Browners penalties..i know 1 wasn't his fault on the INT..are somewhat getting concerning..but it's just his style..so i think we will see this as long as he's in a pats uniform

Yup. He stole this other douchebags shtick.

It wasn't always pretty but ultimately this was a great win. I was pretty confident throughout the game that we'd eventually overcome the blunders of the first half. Especially considering how well the defense was playing.

The defense shut down the Chargers. One of their very best performances this season. It was comforting to see the front seven minus Jones, Mayo, and Hightower still play at a high level.

The offensive line was concerning. Solder was the most glaring problem tonight. He got abused too many times, especially by those damn spin moves. Brady managed to avoid pressure and get the ball off before being hit. Glad he didn't take many sacks (just one I think).

Props to Brandon Bolden on maybe the biggest play of the game. Edelman's was the other great one. That blocked punt gave us much needed momentum to overcome the disastrous fumble return that put us down 11.

We should beat all of our divisional opponents but those games could easily be tough ones. No let downs.

I'm not nervous at all.

It is December in foxborough and we're playing the Dolphins. Shouldn't be close

The only thing I'm nervous of in the remainder of the season is the seemingly yearly freak Gronk injury (knocks on wood).
