Jules had 8 catches for 141 yeards. That's huge output. Glad we kept him.
You've got huge nuts still being here after your Chicken Little BS. Still think they'll be 11-5?

Nothing more frustrating than people in the game thread thinking that the truth is "making excuses".

When a O-lineman has his head jacked back by a D-Lineman thrusting his hands up on the mask the way Ingram did to Solder on the 2 plays he beat Solder, you can't fault Solder for it. You have to hold the refs accountable for missing the call..

That being said, some really bad calls by this officiating crew with the most egregious being the call on Browner. Browner hit Green with his shoulder right to the right side of the chest. Levy claiming it was helmet to helmet was total BS. The reason that Green's head snapped back the way it did is the normal whiplash effect when a moving object gets stopped suddenly.

Overall, it was a tough fought game. The Pats finally were able to capitalize on a San Diego mistake and score the game winning TD.

Kudos have to go to Jamie Collins who played the best game of his career. Ayers is turning into an outstanding pick-up and I'm looking forward to the Pats moving him to OLB when Jones returns.. The trio of Jones, Ninkovich and Ayers is going to be a pass rush nightmare for opposing teams.

Sealver Siliga had a good game back.
Alan Branch did a great job in the run game. Loved him taking down Ryan Matthews with one arm..
Ninkovich played well..
Revis was his normal outstanding self.

McDaniels use of Tim Wright is horrible. He has him split out wide way too much. The couple times he was in the slot, he was open and Brady went somewhere else..

Also, the Pats need to use Jonas Gray more. I actually like Gray better as a runner than Blount, to be honest. Gray's timing seems to be just a hair better than Blounts..

Brandon Bolden finally did something other than take a Penalty on Special Teams. I have to give him great for the blocked punt.

I'd like to see the Pats use a 2WR/TE/FB/RB formation with Gronk in motion away from the main stack to help open things up in the middle. Teams have to account for him and it will move A LB or Safety or both out and give the Pats a good mis-match. The run game tonight was so telegraphed that it was painful to watch..

Those bans were truly timely.

Oh look, another L for the Patriots coming up. Maybe they will be smart and not even come out for the 2nd half. First GB and now SD. Their season is over.
I've removed you from the game thread due to this post.

Never know. 3 division games with teams that want to be the spoiler. I am allowed to be here. If you don't like it then ignore me.

I don't hate the Chargers they are a likeable team and I do like McCoy.
To Chris Collinsworth saying Mcdaniels will be a head coach again I don't see it I see him taking over here one day and being very comfortable.
I see the offense struggling and the play calls on offense have been very transparent. I don't see a team backing the truck up to Josh I think a head coach in this league should be Greg Williams that D defense is really playing ball.

Why would I do that? I enjoy seeing babies like you embarrass themselves. It's fun!

Can we put to rest now any discussion that Jamie Collins was a bad pick?

And please sign Revis, Ayers, Casillas and Branch...and tag McCourty

Revis is already signed for next year. You mean restructure. And I believe that they have to wait until the season is over to do anything.

Ayers, Casillas, and Branch should be relatively easy re-signs. So should Develin, Vereen, Chung, Cannon, and Gostkowski.

Supposedly the Pats and McCourty are really close so they won't have to tag him..

I think Soldier might have been playing with a concussion. On one play, Ingram just face-smashed him with the crown of his helmet. Watched Soldier falling to the ground, he looked like a boxer.

If McD becomes head coach of the Pats someday we'll end up back at 1-15 or 2-14

Yeah, I know, and were it me, I'd pay him the $20 if I had to - but I don't think the Pats will.

Ironically he played a little better after that. He was embarrassing at times though.

Vintage Patriots win.

Defense was huge and compensated for a less than stellar execution on offense.

Reminded me of the type of wins commonplace during the Super Bowl seasons.

I hate to be that guy that slams the OC, but here goes. Do they just come up with these brilliant plans and ignore what's going on in the game? This goes for Brady too, though i guess it's hard to switch to a run, or run play action when you have no RB in the backfield for most of a quarter.

The thing is, to me, if you're going to give up any chance of surprise or changing plays, shouldn't you be making more than three yard pass attempts? and, obviously, when you're making the defense look like wimps by running right through them, why stop and run a bunch of pass plays that are DOA instead of punching it in from the two. Starting to get a rhythm late in the 4th quarter will lose you more games than it wins.

Jamie Collins is a beast and our defense looks awesome even before we get some guys back.

Bingo. Freeney did it early in the game too. The key to beating Solder early in the game was to punch him in the face. Once that stopped happening, he played just fine.
