Whatever he wants pay him. 16 or 17 million a year, I don't care...PAY HIM WHATEVER. Revis alone makes our D a top 5 unit.

Do you guys think winning a super bowl might be more incentive for Revis to take less money to stay?

Or would be it something like, 'well, I already won. I wanna get paid more now.'

Interesting question, I think. I wanna keep him either way of course
Tough to say without knowing him personally. I hope he would go for stability and good football with the Pats.

He is going to cost so much money now...every week his value goes up. I just hope we pay his high asking fee becasue it will be A LOT but IMO..it will 100% be worth it. It takes away 1 side of the field..that's worth a lot

Ty Law thinks that with Peterson and Sherman the topped paid at $14m AAV if the Pats made him the highest paid at $15m AAV he probably stays. I gotta think Ty has some incite on that one.

Said it before
Worth saying again

Revis changes everything on the defense

With Revis, they can game plan in ways that haven't been able to since 2007.

My gut feeling is he won't. I think he's friends with Deion "pay the man" Sanders. Deion was a journeyman looking for top dollar his whole career. Revis has looked like he's folowing in his footsteps.

3 yr 45 mill...do it now

Those were extensions to rookie contracts. I love Revis but I won't give him more than 13/yr

On NFLN Sanders and Irvin both said that they would have liked the opportunity for BB!

So he isn't worth $2.5m more than what he is making this year?

How much do we give McCourty though? 7-8 mill/year?

Thank god you aren't a GM because you're not very intelligent if you think that would get it done.

Serious question would you lose Mccourty for Revis?
Teams are going to offer Mccourty close to 9 million a year I'm sure.
I say retain both and lose Wilfork Mayo and Admendola.
Mayo this defense is top tier without him and more athletic.
Wilfork is great but Branch and Sliga lesson the importance he has.
Revis and Mccourty much more valuable.

Absolutely not. Vince is gonna retire a Patriot

Though you make a great point about Mayo. He isn't really needed when we have Hightower and Collins

You are not very intelligent if you inferred that I believe that would get it done. Do I think it might get it done? Possibly but the chances are slim. We would be leaving other important players without contracts if we pay players what they want. Do you realize how many great players on this team need to be resigned? If you are ok with giving Revis 20m then I do not know what to tell you.

What you pay Revis is heavily dependent on Brady. Laying out a "No way!" position before you even know what kind of cap space there's going to be is a move that makes no sense.
