Defensively, which is what we were discussing, they are. Though, if you want to be pedantic, they are terrible defending the pass and mediocre defending the run.

Not trying to be pedantic. Just saying that they are obviously doing something right being one win behind us.

People can whip up stat to say how average our D is as well.

Yes, they have a very good offense.

SD 5-1 at home...but the only good team they beat was Seattle at home. Everyone else was the jags...jets..raiders ect

2 keys. Get OFF the field on 3rd down
Stay ON the field on 3rd down

think the chargers have a bunch of injuries.

Gronk at the Clippers game tonight, as Jonas Gray sets his iPhone alarm in the background.

Rivers will throw some picks. I expect a bit more of a 2-deep safety to deal with their big TEs. Revis will probably move around a lot covering Allen most of the time. Browner will play a similar fashion as he did in the 2nd half last week

SD's O is a bit like Chicago's in terms of their receivers - 2 big guys in Floyd and Allen, plus Gates, who is way better than Martellus Bennett. Rivers is better than Cutler, but error prone. The Charger's don't have Matt Forte, but they have a solid running game plus Eddie Royal. Lots of matchup issues. I expect the Pats to play more of a base given their TE sets and running game, so it will be interesting to watch Hightower and Collins, and see if Casillas gets more snaps.

Really only person i am worried about on their O is Gates. But he has since slowed way down but still a beast in the RZ and 3rd down. On D i always fear Weddle...very underrated

Oh Allen is definitely a threat, particularly if Arrington or Ryan are covering him.

I don't think arrington or ryan will be covering him. I think arrington will be on say eddie royal. Revis should get Allen

Gates, Allen, Eddie Royal, and Malcolm Floyd (6'5") are all fine targets for Philip Rivers to throw the ball to.

Hopefully, we can do a better job of defending the 3rd and 4th options. The Chargers certainly have enough weapons to beat us if the defense isn't playing right though, that's a no-brainer.

I don't think it's likely to happen, but the talent that the NFL has on even the worst teams (Jets excluded--at least on offense) is often understated by us fans.

Our Offense need to sustain drives early on in the game they had a slow start last week which is unacceptable on the road. If they pull this crap Sunday Night the game will be over by halftime. A Fast start by the Offense is imperative!

O had a slow start vs GB but still had a chance to win it in the end becasue of the D. That's what's nice about having a good D now. But i think they start fast this week

If they lose this game, they'll really be under the gun for the Miami game. They SHOULD beat Miami, (and hopefully the charge-heads) but Buffalo as a final game could become key.

Buffalo is looking pretty good, not great but I could see them beating Denver head and GB and Oakland.

Though English is my second language, I don't think I misread what you typed here.... Are you really insinuating that the Bills can beat the Broncos @ Mile High and the Packers (at home)??? Tell me you're kidding.

This game has me concerned. The Chargers play well at home and we're .500 on the road. The biggest confidence I have is B&B's track record after losses, and that Brady is going to be super pizzed.

Considering that two of NE's losses came during the early part of the season, I don't see how that is all that predictive of how NE will play on Sunday. Since their abominable opening to the season, they are 2-1 with wins over an 8-4 team, a 7-5 team and a 5 point loss to arguably the best team in the NFL. That doesn't strike me as a team that struggles on the road.

Buffalo beating DEN? HA

Yeah MIA will be playing for something when they play us...But Pats won't take them lightly..they beat them already. Pats will be ready to roll at home coming off 2 road games. 2nd half of seasons since like '12 they are pretty much unbeatable at home. They will win their last 2 home games
