Got a dislike for quoting Bedard. How do I dislike a dislike?

I was going to dislike your post about pointing out you got a dislike for quoting Bedard, but then you would probably post another post pointing out I disliked your post about pointing out you got a dislike. Which of course, I would have to also dislike And we would go around and round.

So I decided to cut this endless circle by giving you a "funny" icon. But be forewarned that in my mind it is a dislike.:D

Edit: Now my joke about your dislike is getting me dislikes too. I guess people think I was the one who gave you the dislike.

Probably becasue your DVR is smart enough to shut off the recording when ass face and tool bag are shown.

The Hopper for the Dish Network has a program that will you skip the commercials. Someone needs to creat a program for the DVR that lets you skip over when Felger or Mazz speak.

I have to admit to not seeing the point of the dislike button. It seems remarkably childish. I guess I can see some minor value to "disagree" but even that feels unnecessary. I'd much rather discuss it instead.

I use 'disagree' not infrequently to indicate simple disagreement with the point of a post, where I don't feel it merits getting into a formal response. I very seldom use 'dislike', and generally reserve it for when I feel someone is being deliberately obnoxious or provacative, and crosses a line. Or for when Miguel quotes Greg Bedard.

so far it sounds like felger thinks this theory is absurd, but i do remember reading yesterday he was pitching the idea of BB holding back and saving something in case the two teams meet in the SB
There was a time I would have dismissed out-of-hand such a silly tinfoil-hat theory... But I recall the NYG basically admitting to as much in '07. So I guess it can't be ruled out completely.

FWIW, I for one think it had more to do with personnel (no Fleming, Arrington injured, etc).

I do partly agree with Bedard, considering the track record of recent DBs almost doing a 180 in year 2.

Dennard was damn good last year outside the AFCCG, McCourty was a Pro Bowler his first year, but Ryan was GREAT last year partly due to more zone, IMO. But I put my trust in Bedard, since he really doesn't have a reason to attack BB... Does he?

I'd have to say that 90%+ of us don't use the "dislike" feature whatsoever, so at least we have that going.

I'd encourage those that do to consider using the "disagree" button instead, but to each his/her own.

Which game is not a statement game for the patriots ?
Bengals after KC.
Can we beat Denver ?
Can we win vs a good team on the road in Indy ?
Can we beat the #1 defense ?

We lose to GB and now its a statement game.

I am not saying its a tough game but the statement game stuff is never ending.

Wait until the team gets into the playoffs. Then we'll hear how all these "statement games" in the regular season were meaningless if the don't win the whole thing.

Haven't we seen this from the Patriots also? 2 or 3 years ago against the Texans in the playoffs, the team lined up Aaron Hernandez in the backfield when they, from what I can recall, hadn't done that all year.

On the other hand, if the Patriots and Green Bay play again, we could see a change in approach as opposed to unveiling some new plays/formations. I don't remember the details, but the Patriots changed their game plan, at least defensively, from their regular season meeting when they played the Rams in the Super Bowl.

NY was a little different. They were locked into their seeding, so they had nothing to play for. They also weren't holding back in the event of another game with NE, it was to limit usable film for Tampa the following week.

The benching IMO was for the detroit game. And they have blount and they trust blount more so I expect him to see more carries. Gray wouldnt be seeing much of the ball if ridley was there .People are getting too worked up after the colts game but the fact is blount is a better runner.
And Bolden never will be...

I personally have had enough of the "if we meet GB in arizona" talk . Dont want to invite bad karma. One game at a time. Long long way to go.

For the record it was not @Rob0729 who gave me a dislike.

I got the dislike for transcribing what Bedard said about the Patriots should rush the ball. In effect, I got the dislike for being the messenger.

I usually do not mind receiving negative feedback on my posts but not this time. Feedback on being the messenger discourages further posting in future threads like this. Dislike me for my opinions but not providing a service to my fellow Patriots fans.

Has anyone considered that offensive coaches review tape of CBs and if they aren't Revis, they exploit the flaws they find? They all do have flaws or they'd be in the first round, unless they had significant injury histories or came from such small schools their draft position doesn't reflect their talent.

First year, they do what they're good at, develop confidence. Second year, every offensive coordinator exploits what they aren't good at, they lose confidence. It isn't rocket science.

I gave Rob's post the "disagree", as a joke. I assumed it would be fairly obvious. Evidently not. I've removed it.

It isn't rocket science to understand the overarching theme to every DB drafted into the system either. They decline after their rookie year, and according to Bedard, who watches more film than anyone on this forum, their technique changes from year 1 to year 2

I don't really care if I get negative responses. I just wasn't sure if I was clear it I was just joking since several people gave negative responses.

I didn't take it personally and assumed to was a joke until someone else did it too.

For the record, I don't think I have ever given anyone a dislike or disagree response.

Actually last year WAS Dennards second year, and this year he is clearly dealing with injuries.
Ryan was far from GREAT last year, and played sparingly for long stretches. Aside from some Ints skewing the viewpoint, he has looked pretty similar this year to last.
I don't know if trusting Bedard is the issue. I have no reason to believe he is lying on purpose, but I have many reasons to believe he is not an expert on how to coach DBs or analyze football at the level of a coach or a coaching judge.

Gave you a dislike. Because I can. :D
