The Official Patriots vs Packers Game Thread

Yeah we are going to be 9-3 and tied for the best record in the NFL now. I feel like puking.

Quit rationalizing

This is the game thread, not "Outlook On The Entire Season Thread"

Gronk did not complete the process.

Probably not, but it's foolish not to throw the flag knowing that it's close and you have to score on that drive anyway.

Well that's the 1 game cushion for HFA gone (assuming Denver wins at KC) means no more mistakes. Need 4 wins. San Diego is massive!

Cmon Chiefs!!!!!!!

Hope the donkeys lose

Yea GB deserved it today. Outplayed us. We just can't be sloppy against that calibre of offense. I thought we did a good job on defense at halftime, but you just can't overcome such a big start. Still, we were a Gronk drop away from being right there so its far from being a hang your head in shame game.

We really needed Chandler Jones

Someone tell me why we didn't blitz?

They held them to 26 despite getting nothing at all from the zebras, that game was winnable - the offense should cover 26 easily.

Defense sucked. Packers punted one time. You will never win a game that way unless you can score like 45 points.

Wow that evened out the playoff races in both conferences more than I realized. Maybe the NFL did want to influence the outcome

Either way, GB deserved the win. Made a lot of big plays and we couldn't match

I don't care how bad we played on defense

That game was SIGNIFICANTLY ALTERED by the refs

No doubt about that.

I blame most of this loss on the coaching staff. This game plan SUCKED. The execution on the field was inconsistent. Bah, I'm pissed.

EDIT: I've seen some bad officiating, but for the first time, these officials made me question how legit the NFL really is. They really did. I mean, we all saw missed calls from our couches. What exactly was that group looking at? Sadly our team is to passive to complain but they should.

Well there goes the Pats' margin of error. Just going to have to win out from here.

It's over. This D and the defensive play-calling is pathetic, except for Revis. Rodgers is bouncing back in the pocket it seems for 6-8 seconds on average, where is the pressure? The O is playing way too conservative and Brady should've been given the opportunity to convert 4th and 20 or score a TD.

They held them to 26 points. Do you know how many points GB has scoring at home the last few games?

It's hard to win on the road against good teams. Thankfully we'll never have to play GB on the road if we see them again this year. Tough loss, lots to learn. It's a non-conference loss.

If we see GB again it will be on the road in Arizona. In February. Duh.

so now we need to beat SD...our window has become very small

No it wasn't. It was altered by the pats D not getting off the field on 3rd down and getting 0 pass rush...packers were the better team and deserve to be #1 in the power rankings after this week

Do I need to remind you what happened on GB's only TD drive of the game?

Ayers sack on Rodgers. Would've put Green Bay 3rd and about 15 near their endzone. Instead - FLAG. A petty call on Browner covering Nelson away from the play.
