Thanksgiving Day NFL Games

To be a consistent QB in this league, you need be able to win from the pocket. Once RG3 lost his freakish athlethic abillities he became an average Quarterback. His athleticism covered several mechanical issues, and his inability to read defenses. Kaepernick and RG3 are worldclass athletes, but they are not GOOD Quarterbacks,in my opinion.

Agreed.
I'm not knocking either man for their skillsets. If you can win by doing X and Y, great! Winning by having the pure pocket passer is absolutely not a requirement. SBs are good, period, from whomever is the QB.

I'm just surprised the conversation on RGIII (and Kap) often leaves this obvious fact out. You look at their scoring production from their peak year, you then see how they produced scores that year (rushing and passing), then you see this year's waning scoring production and see scoring production markedly down on the rushing side, now ask why this obvious fact is ignored by so many with comments like "what's wrong with RGIII?.

Game over

Kaep's only good drive was so far was a drive when the refs helped them out with flags and they only came away with 3 points. So bad.

i listen to lot of 49ers radio here in the bay area. there is lot of angst on their offense . While Kaep is not playing any great their schemes are routinely questioned. Like when have they run a screen pass ,a bubble screen ? Doesnt help that the QB cant throw touch passes efficiently.

seriously pete? 2 minutes to go and up 16 and your going to challenge a play?

LOL only Pete would do something like that

jesus ****ing christ 2 seconds left and the refs throw a flag.

Assuming the Patriots win this weekend, and assuming Arizona likely will get another loss (besides Seattle), Seahawks are in fantastic position to lock up the #1 seed.

They play:

at Philly
SF
at Arizona
STL

Philly game is big but their pass D is swiss cheese (Wilson should have a field day on them) and Seattle plays extremely well against pass heavy offenses, its the teams that play the most similar to they have trouble with.

Not to mention, Carroll was Sanchez's old coach, probably knows a thing or two about getting in his head in games.

Arizona could collapse the next few games with Stanton under center and that may not be so tough of a game for Seattle in Arizona afterall.

This was a massive win for Seattle. They're beginning to gel again at the right time.

Seattle still has a dominant defense, Elite run game, and a QB who doesn't turn the ball and can make plays

Kaepernick is the Geno Smith of the NFC. He's awful. He can run, but that's it. He has horrible mechanics, he's woefully inaccurate and he can't read a defense to save his life. He's living entirely on his defense.

Is this the guy we had last week? Whoever they were, awful.

Their QB has trouble hitting the broad side of a barn.

I believe it is.

We have had him twice this season, and both games were horrible reffed

14 penalties on Seattle, 3 on SF. But I'm sure that accurately reflects the play on the field!

I like our defense and it is good, but the seattle defense is pretty fun to watch. They are seriously fast, and every player swarms to the ball. It's like every player is fired from a rocket.

It didn't look that dominate vs KC.

They haven't given up a TD in 2 games, but those games happened to be against Arizona and SF, 2 anemic offenses...
