saw the rebroadcast of pats/lions on nfln twice and heard joe buck call robert kraft a "modern day zoolander". so i listened the second time and i'm pretty sure that's what he said. saw the movie but didn't quite get the reference. does anyone know what joe suck was trying to say ?

He was refering to the fact that Kraft had become a fashion trend setter by wearing sneakers with suits i believe.

I actually thought it was a clever reference. I think the Buck\Aikman team is the best of the mainstream crews. Just my opinion.

if that's the case, joe buck is a bigger dork than i thought.

I'm sure it wasn't his choice.

Part of the "NFL Package" especially at a home game for the owner who is also the Chairman of the NFL Broadcasting Committee, would probably be to throw in a few free publicity references to the new product such owner had just that weekend introduced to the world (an assuredly most grateful world, because what world wouldn't need another designer sneaker?).

OK, I thing I have gotten most of my snark and sarcasm out of the way today and am ready for The Macy's Day Parade! (until the first Carrie Underwood sighting).

Reason #247 to hate Fox's broadcast.

Kraft announced that he is opening the Robert Kraft Center For Children Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too. He wants to teach children that there is more to life than being really, really ridiculously good-looking.
