Patriot fans, pray for me PLEASE.

I can't take this nonsense anymore!
I don't even feel right picking on you. It would be like punching an Alzheimer's patient in a wheelchair. I think it's time to clean house down there. At least the winless Raiders were putting up a fight every week. The Bills were the ones displaced for God's sake.

Wow.

This COULD be it tonight...JETMAGGEDON.

No way this fat slob turd of a toe sucking deviant survives THIS debacle...no friggin' way...unless the entire organization has the equivalent brain power of a dead tick.
But who/what can they replace him with? To what improved result?

admit it Tunes....you WANT Rex Ryan on that sideline...you NEED Rex Ryan on that sideline...

Well, you just answered your own query, there. This means Rex will be the coach until the end of the season!!

after that loss the rex ryan was just fired countdown begins, I don't think he makes it past wednesday.

CBS: Fans run on field, Security guards hit harder than anyone on the Jets defense:

No, they will collectively buy into an delusional excuse bolus that the schedule was messed up, it was cold outside, his wife hurt her toe, etc...

Or that Rex's wife didn't give him any toe? I'm sure that fat fetishist can't function otherwise.

This COULD be it tonight...JETMAGGEDON.

This settles it. Rex has compromising pictures of Woody. There's no other tangible explanation.

1969 SOFJ.

1) Buffalo has more wins than the other two New York teams, combined.

I hope Benigno has enough energy left in him to go on a massive rant!

But who/what can they replace him with? To what improved result?

Vince Lombardi. Even though he's deceased. Putting a picture of him on the wall in the Jets locker room would be better than letting Rex coach the team.

mariota will fail miserably with the jets.
No he will not, as all long as we get rid of Idzik. We need to clean house, and ALLOW the next GM to bring in his own head coach. After this we need to sign a veteran Quarterback along the lines of Matt Moore, and if we're in position for Mariota we need to sit him out for a good portion of the season. As long as we allow Mariota to play in a hybrid spread system for his first year or so, he'll be fine with us.

Wow.
This team quit on Rex a few weeks ago. I saw this coming after the loss against Detroit. This is pathetic, but the Rich Kottie era was worse!

Are you a mashochist in other areas of your waking life or does your masochism just apply to football? ;)

I couldn't get why this Jets fan comes into this thread to engage in rational discussion of football. Now I see.

When you try to discuss the Jets rationally, The Jets Continue To Suck is the only possible conclusion.

Look at my screen name.

While I don't hate the Cowboys players and still love them until 1996, I can't stand what that owner has done to RUIN that team. I've been patient for 17 years for "Al Davis II" to single-handedly prove Jimmy Johnson wrong and it's a bad joke - don't let their good showing this year fool you...Cowboys should have had more seasons like this one with a competent GM.

At some point you have to say enough is enough.

To people like the brave Jets fan on this thread - it's noble to pull for a team during hard times. But if it's run by a bunch of clowns, is it worth it? For me, I have decided to admire the Cowboys of the past, but follow the Patriots now as they are a lot more like the team I loved than the ones with the star on their helmet.

If you do decide a team is terminally run by clowns, leaving them is the best thing to do - the capitalist thing to do. Bad businesses lose support and either make corrections or fold - sports franchises should be treated just like that. If there are poorly run teams at Cleveland, Oakland, DC, Dallas, etc, etc, don't keep coming and treat their owners like crack suppliers - hurt them at the bank until something happens. If they are stupid enough to hang on to their team and continue to ruin it, so be it.

As long as we allow Mariota to play in a hybrid spread system for his first year or so, he'll be fine with us.

Please, please let this happen. Design and run a temporary offense around a rookie QB, then have a stand in veteran QB operate that offense for a year, then have the rookie operate it for a year. Then switch out of the temporary system and into another one just as the rookie begins to get his feet under him and the OL gets the knack for it. Excellent!

Only the Jets!

It's all part of the SOJ continuum. Suckage everlasting.

I have never liked Rex but dam I know the guy tried hard to have a good team, they way his team quit on him, almost, I said almost, makes me feel bad for him. I think he will be a great DC next year and whomever he is doing that for will probably have a very good defense. I do think he was railroaded some by his GM's and the ownership.

I cant imagine who would want this job, it is 100% career suicide, the only reason Rex makes it out alive is because he is a great DC.

its like an old house you should scrape off...
