@PatriotsSB49: $16m per year is not overpaying for Darrelle Revis because Hanley Ramirez is getting $22m.

Is this figurative or did he really say that?

53 players plus practice squad and a salary cap verse 25 players and no cap. So intelligent.

I wish they would STFU and let Bedard speak.

Felger said Revis is a steal at 16 million a year when you have players like Hanley Ramirez making22 million. Yup.

Studs
1.) Revis - Haven't graded a better game from a CB in his career. Seven positive plays which is unheard of. one negative play, but it wasn't all his fault.
2.) Hightower - Looks so much faster. Great vs. the run and the pass. Just dynamite. Should be both All Pro and Pro Bowl consideration. May be the best MLB in the league. Doesn't understand why people nationally are talking about Hightower.
3.) Nate Solder - Tough match up. Did very good job in the running game. Since the KC game, he has been playing very well.

Says Chung has been good, but saw a little bit of the old Pat Chung in this game. But didn't hurt the team.

Connolly one of the three down players. No surprise, as he may be the worst starter on a strong team.

Bedard has Wendell down as well. Howe thought he played excellent. Interesting.

Chris Jones is Bedard's 3rd down player.

Hightower looks faster and in better shape, contributing to his breakout season. He should be in All Pro consideration.

That seems extremely hard to imagine. I like him, don't get me wrong, but that seems a little over the top.

He nicely muscled his way through a hockey style hip check on a GL pick route.

Duds
Said he had trouble finding duds
1.) Dan Connolly - 4 total QB pressures. Not a lot especially the competition, but he had to come up with someone
2.) Wendell - Gave up 3 QB pressures.
3.) Chris Jones - Got washed out in the running game. Alan Branch played very well conversely. Hopes Branch takes away downs from Jones.

Funny how we are down to giving out "duds" for 4 and 3 QB pressures compared to how we started the season. I really, really like the trajectory of this years team.

Not at all. HT has been a beast. I've said the same thing recently. He is one of the 5 best LBs in the NFL.

Yes, but he seems overpaid when you consider school teachers make 50K a year. Oh well, guess we should just cut him and move on then per Felger's method of comparing apples to oranges. o_O

I generally don't watch the MLB unless they are getting burned which happened a lot last year though it appeared to be due to playing out of position. So he is playing at a Luke Kuechly level now?
