According to a league source

that's the NFL for you...inconsistency at its finest

Never be surprised when stupid people continue to do stupid things.

I mean it's not like there's no evidence of multiple, unflagged, infringements. Not punishing after the fact and during the game just shows the officials and league office are incompetent/don't actually care for player safety.

Goodell only does lip service to player safety.

FWIW - per PFT, it says no suspension, but that doesn't rule out a fine.

Not surprising at all. If his socks were too high/low or if he wore the wrong brand of headphones, a fine would definitely come down. Deliberately taking cheap-shots at an opposing player? The league can't suspend someone for that.

since the league wont take action, I hope that gutless clown tears both his acls next week.

Well, he does still have to play for the Lions and there collapse is imminent now, so that's kind of a punishment.

Maybe someone on the Bears defense won't take too kindly to Raiola taking cheap shots at other defenders.

Oh, and Zach Moore is from Chicago...

Meh - the scorn of your fellow players (admitted or not) and most of NFL fandom, plus the ongoing collapse of your team is probably punishment enough. Too bad our guy didn't fall on his head with all his weight. The next guy to be treated to this trick will probably remember to do so.

uh...most likely his least vulnerable spot, Deb...just sayin'....

What a joke. They pass new rules that make games almost unwatchable and then let something like this slide.

I could be mistaken, but I believe this initial report is that the Lions won't discipline him. The league I don't believe has been heard from yet.

He spoke to reporters so as far as the league is concerned it's all good.

yet they fine lynch for not talking to the media.
