The 2014 Edition : Jets continue to suck (what else is new)

I heard that residents of Detroit are upset the Jets are making an unscheduled appearance in their city. They're worried about the negative cultural influence and have complained to NFL officials over insufficient lead time for remedial preparations. Parent and school associations also have urged the Lions not to distribute free game tickets to anybody under 21. This could get messy.

Someone should inform the residents of Detroit that there are few Jets fans who will realize that the game has been moved, few of those who will realize when it will be played, fewer still who will be able to navigate the ticketing process, only a few of them who will be able to find Detroit, and then fewer still who will be able to find the stadium. Plus, rather than driving to Buffalo, they will need to fly to Detroit, and many won't have ever done that before. It is TSA that should be concerned.

By the time the population of "traveling" Jets fans works its way through these filters, there will only be three or four of them that make it. Detroit's SUV unit should be able to follow each of them to protect against crime.

Why would anyone want to visit that dump of a city?

The Jets would have to pay me to go to Detroit.

well...there it is...after a week of this troll's incessant attempts to legitimize his presence here, there's his ouright request for a ban. One of the mods will be along to satisfy your death wish. It was nice NOT knowing you.

You can't mock Detroit. Your team plays in a smelly swamp. "Boss" Woody is so limp he couldn't swing a deal to get the big MTA parking lot on the edge of town for the SwampRats. It was a Tenth Avenue Freeze Out.

Another moron, added to my ignore list.

Thanks for being a fan, bud!
You really should take a hint. You haven't offered much beyond nonsensical babble and lots of Patriots bashing. This is not going to end well for you here. Go back to Ganggreen or whatever where you at least will be tolerated.

I've only bashed the Pats once. And As I said when you're ready to talk football I'm here, but until then I'm putting, you as well others, who continue to attack me on ignore. Just because you disagree with me doesn't mean I'm "trolling". I've already had several solid football discussions with others in the draft thread, and one particular poster in this thread. Have a good one, Tunescribe.

I agree Woody is an idiot. You won't see me defending Geno, Woody Vick, Rex, or Idzik. But my post goes beyond football. Detroit is a crappy city in disarray , and even you cannot deny this.

We've all been waiting on pins and needles for this incredibly revelatory declaration.

Which is why you should go there and lend a hand -- a much more productive use of your time than posting here.

So where is this "home" game for the Bills this week against the NY mold stain

In Detroit, Monday night at 7 pm. NFL games have numerous technical requirements which makes it impossible to move it to a college site, say the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, so they have to move it to a NFL stadium. Buffalo and NYC will get the game via their local CBS affiliate, Sunday Ticket subscribers can see it on channel 706, the rest of the country is SOL.

Of course, if the Pats win today, the Jets will be mathematically eliminated from the AFC East, LOL before they even take the field for week 11! Nice job there Rexy!

Poor bastards in Buffalo... everybody's waiting for their roof to collapse. I wonder how many people end up even able to watch the game?

But their super bowl is week 16 against the Pats! It's okay!
