Nothing official yet, but Talib seems to have a strained hamstring

I find it difficult to "hate on" Talib. His departure lead to Darrelle Revis.

Sometimes, the deals that don't happen are the best deals.

I thought that Talib was fine here. Just not durable- and Revis is on a whole other level.

I still think the WW hit was BS.

Just an FYI, Talib wasn't at practice today.

Talib was on the radio last night here in Denver, on the Broncos show, he says he is fine and it isnt an issue. Lets see.

Yeah. It won't be an issue until the 2nd quarter of the AFC Championship game... if the Broncos make it that far.

But I will say listening to Talib live on the radio for 30 minutes is an experience I wont soon forget...unbelievable, I couldn't understand half of what he said.

I'm not gonna root for him but I'll always love Talib. Not as much as Revis, but when health Talib did a lot of great stuff here (except for when he was playing Steve Smith)

This deserves its own thread?
Considering that in the off season he declared his injury last year was NOT a hamstring and tried to tar Belichick with making it up to make him look injury prone, YES. Apology accepted.:)

'Tis the season.

I thought he declared it wasn't a hip?

Talib's had trouble at times staying on the field, however, I hope he's ok. I hope Talib stays healthy and keeps playing in order to match up against an also healthy Patriots. A straight up game, their best against our best (if the Broncos and Patriots match up again this year, in Foxboro) for entrance into the SB. That's a great game to anticipate, discuss, then watch. And with the way the Patriots are playing right now I think chances are very good for the Patriots' best to send Denver's best packing.

While I tend to agree with you, think that you make a ton of good points, and hate to be the negative one, I'd much rather avoid having to play Denver again.

They're still a tough enough team (for sure) that they could prevent us from reaching the final goal, even despite our recent success vs. them lately having won 3/4 since Peyton came aboard.

Most are feeling very confident and even ****y on the subject at the moment, but I'd just rather play someone else if it were up to me. I'll be rooting for them to be knocked out or at least forced to play on WC weekend as a #3 seed, or worse if they don't win the division.

That's definitely the pragmatic view point -- 'the smart play' -- while mine is not, mine is the confident(and probably over) one. Hey, I've been with you in the years past; the whole extrapolation thing of: if team X is knocked off, then hope team Y makes it to here and Z makes it there, hoping for the safest and easiest path.
This year, as of right now, I'm liking the tough road being traveled and the team's response. This year (as mentioned, provided health remains) I'm liking the idea of driving the proverbial mack truck right down the throats of Denver and anyone else. A BB and TB exclamation point season. One that will be highlights of the NE Patriots facing the best, sweeping them aside, and taking it home.

However, I reserve the right to changing my mind to rooting for the easiest path once the playoffs start.. :)

Talib can be the best CB in the league for the first 8-10 weeks, but becomes a ghost when it gets cold.

When has Talib ever been the best CB in football for the first 8-10 weeks?
