Boy we are going to get an ass load of Rogers boy love from espn this week. I don't think browner on Nelson is a good idea, Nelson is too fast for browner. That will be a flag test.

I agree I don't think their defense is awesome and I think the vikes showed you can run against them. Keeping the ball out of Rogers hand is the key is think. But no way their defense can cover everyone on NE.

The cold or any weather won't be a factor for nE.

I think this is the first "Brady vs. Rodgers" bowl game.

Yup, and I think this is the first time BB has faced Rodgers as well.

The key to this game will be shutting down Lacy.. Plain and simple. If the defense can't stop Lacy and force Rodgers to go strictly to the air, they will kill us..

The only thing I was disappointing in today was our run defense, that could be a factor next week. Maybe it is just game planning.

Hoping for a snow game. Haven't had one since Chi 2010. That was a fun game. Both teams are great weather teams so it would be a great game.

I think the way the Patriots defensive line has been playing they will be able to get to Rodgers early and disrupt his rhythm. The secondary hasn't looked better this year, and if they can stop some deep passes again they will have the packers right where they want them. They will have this game easily if they can pick off Rodgers more than once.

I'm not so worried about the GB defense since the teams they've held were mostly teams with mediocre to bad offenses. The Patriots will be a big teat for their defense either way. But I think the way the O line has played the pats will get some big play and quite a few TDs.

Only time will tell, but I think they got this one; despite what all the pundits think...

That's strange. I thought our run D was tremendous. They had two runs of 10 yards or more, one by a WR (13yds) and one by Stafford (10 yds)

Yeh maybe it is was just how it looked to me, but they had 91 on us total. Of course we had 90 which surprised me. But I still think they need to play a little better in the run game against GB.

Our run D was good. Joique Bell and Riddick are adept at grinding for tough yards. We'll need to bring it against Lacy, though.

Gonna be another tough test for our defense. But, I have no doubt that they are capable of rising to the challenge.

Brady needs to play 4 strong quarters this game.

Trump card - Siliga will be activated (I hope) and Easley will be back.

We'll play a jumbo DL to stop lacy. We'll see Easley and possibly moving big Vince to DE on early downs. Keep lacy and Rodgers in between the tackles.

Big Vince is playing too many plays I think. Need more past rush.

There is simply no time to rest, the Packers like the Broncos, the Saints and the Pats, are almost invisible at home.Gotta keep the express train moving. Rodger doesn't throw interception, we're gonna have to play tough, sound, discipline physical football. If we can keep Rodger under control on the road then this defense might just be the defense we've been waiting for since 2004.

BB always tries to dictate the game by having the D limit what the opposition does best. In this case the chief threat was the passing game so you limit that and give up a bit on the run in exchange expect more of the same next week (see the Denver and Indy games for prior examples) against a team like the Jets you take away the run and dare the Jets to try and win the game passing.

The D was very good today.

I viewed this week as a good test for the O which they passed, next week will tell if we have a championship D < 27 points will be very good <20 is elite.

I am encouraged that we could be adding Silinga, Chandler Jones and Easley back into the mix by playoff time.

This is going to be the hardest game all season since the Patriots have flipped the switch.

Could easily go either way. I have the Pats winning cause our D is better but Rodgers is crazy good and can just out play your D sometimes specifically at home. Denver/Pats was suppose to be GOTY. I think this is probably more likely to be GOTY and a lot closer.
