Interesting notes: DC is Teryl Austin, former secondary coach with the Ravens who was part of SB team in 2011, knows Gray and obviously very familiar with Brady. Was on Seahawks staff for 2005 SB appearence and Cardinals staff for their 2008 SB appearence.

OC Joe Lombardi, grandson of you-know-who, had been Drew Brees' QB coach since '09, the year they won SB XLIV, before this season.

lol..what would you do with Gonk.."I'd put 3, 4 5 guys on him.."

I'd like to get Jim "Dead Face" Caldwell's real opinion on the Patriots.

It seemed like the OC had an idea about what might work against the Patriots' defense, but the DC was mostly slack-jawed and sounded like he wished he was back in Baltimore. Herman Moore sounded like he might have a man crush and just enjoys saying "Tom Brady."

for a while when he was coaching indy i wasnt sure he was alive, it could have been a card board cut out standing on the side lines

I read the thread title and thought "Wow, the Lions coaches have an opinion about us slobs at Patsfans.com????"

:D
Of course they do. They've been trying to get Gymrat as their nutrition coach but he is just too good for them. He won't take on anyone who isn't entirely dedicated to the task of reaching 0.0% body fat.

14 years of watching Belichick I can tell you that Contempt and Happiness are switched in the above table.

No, it was contempt and disgust that were switched.

The Lions D is the best in the league, so I'd guess that he's pretty happy where he is.

Really, that´s a coach? I always thought, this was a model for headsets!

I can't blame anyone who loves the game of football for having a crush on Tom Brady. Those that don't would probably be his victims.

What's Jim Caldwell's record against us as a HC anyway. Okay, I'll go look.... He's 1-2 vs B&B, with the home team winning all three close games. That's probably one of the better records of any HC vs B&B.

It will be interesting to see what their defensive rankings are after today's game.
