Practice report (11/19): Siliga returns; Jones Fleming absent

Actually, the initial report, repeated by every reporte, was about a month, from Shalise M Y, hence my post.

Besides the "hit the dart board" guesses, I've yet to see an actual report of the injury.

I have seen no report of what it is (though a couple of what it is not (labrum, surgical repair). Another dart board shot: minor dislocation (type 1 subluxation) would fit.
Some forms of hip subluxation respond well to a protocol of rest, ice and anti-inflammatory medications after the hip has been put back into place using a conservative method. A fairly long time frame of four to six months is required in conjunction with strict adherence to an appropriate treatment protocol.

She was only reporting what a team source had told her and she clearly stated as such. She wasn't diagnosing. I'm not suing her.

She didn't say it was a team sauce, did she? Thought it was just a sauce.

EDIT. It was a league sauce, whatever that means.

Lets say Fleming is out for a little while. Who do we have that can be put into that role? Since it was so effective, we should try it with someone else then

Good depth there: Marcus Cannon

Please just NO! to Marcus Cannon he's been Horrible all year. I don't think I have seen Marcus Blocked a single Defender all year a human turnsytle!

Marcus Cannon is fine as a 6th OL, Fleming is clearly better in BB's mind for that extra OL run blocker. But Cannon has done OK when he has subbed in for Vollmer and Solder at times.

Cannon's problems came when he was thrust into a spot he had zero time playing in the preseason but they were also magnified because the whole OL was playing bad.

Agree with most, I think we could do a lot worse than having Cannon in there as the extra blocker, could be Devey :)

Attn: Miguel

You listed Siliga in one of your articles as a 2015 ERFA but he is listed on the 2015 salary cap page as a RFA.
Which is correct?

So expecting Fleming and Easley to be out for this one as they missed again today. Unless Easley missing is part of the injury management that was talked about. I mean Easley had almost as many snaps as Vince and it didn't appear to me that he was at all effected by an injury.

Jonas Gray not at practice today. We'll find out around 4 p.m. why.

That sounds pretty bad. Unlikely to make it back for the playoffs.

Hope they don't rush him back like Dobson and have him injure it again. Sounds career threatening.

They should play Moore, he was really good when in there.

Everyone is different and I am guessing there is a lot of uncertainty about his recovery time. Only updates we will get is whether they keep him on the active roster. If injuries require new signings the roster spots become more valuable and you have to weight the chances of Jones returning against the possibility of losing a player who is released. We are already down to players we could easily lose when Siliga returns. Just look at the healthy guys who are not dressing (Devey, Dennard, Dobson). At the moment though, he is on the roster so many are cautiously optimistic about his return.

No Gray at practice.
as well as Gray not sighted (not on report) and Fleming DNP-ankle, and, notably, Easly DNP-knee.
EDIT: Gray showed up late for practice.

....against the New England secondary????

Go right ahead! :D

I'm loving this defense. Not enough was made about how they held Luck and the Colts to 20 points in their track house.

If Brady doesn't hand them a TD late in the 2nd quarter, it would have been 13.
