You bet. This loss is the worse thing to happen to Denver. 10 days off to stew over losing to an 0-10 team?

The Chiefs have their backs to the wall and Arrowhead will be rockin' on the 30th.

KC has 3 more days to prep for the game than Denver.

10 day forecast on weather.com only goes to Saturday the 29th - - a day with a high of 35 and a low of 24! :D

This is setting up quite nicely.

And the Dolphins are going against the Broncos on 10 days rest, first. :)

I'd like nothing better than to see Denver lose in KC. While KC might have the much better defense AND Peyton's history of choking in the playoffs and against the Pats... I'd MUCH rather face KC than DEN, home or on the road. They don't scare me. A shootout with DEN does...

Mia v Den. At first I wasn't sure who to root for. But now that I've read the other thread about Peyton wanting records, I never want Peyton to win another game. Lol. Go doofins.

Let's dream a little dream:

Dolphins over Broncos
Chiefs over Broncos
Chargers over Rams
Chargers over Ravens

Broncos in 3rd place in the AFCW at 7-5.

Wow, is it tough having to root for a crap team like the Raiders to hang on to win a game. Really highlights all the little things that make a bad football team bad.

alex smith takes check downs to a different level.
take away the run and the chiefs offense is garbage.

Pats v Lions is the only fun 1pm game. I expect we will all be paying attention to the fins v peytons game at 4 but the cardinals game could be a good one as well

I'm officially rooting against the Cardinals. I do not want them to have a home game in the SuperBowl when the Pats go to Arizona in February.

It's unbelievable how every week I watch them, I start off skeptical and accept there's no way they're winning.

Yet every week, they do *just* enough to give me a sense of hope before failing spectacularly.

It must be hell rooting for a team like this.

I recall the Pats from 65till85, always disapointing.

My question is, Who do we now want to Win the Broncs-Phins game ?

A Phins victory may set the Broncs on a WC or no Playoffs track.

A Broncs victory will likely seal a Pats AFCE Division championship, and guarantee a 1-4 seed Playoff appearance.

So who to choose???

Ben Dreith screwed the Pats in 75...who knows what heights the franchise would have hit the next few years if THAT despicable crime wasn't perpetrated by the hate filled Dreith. Set us back 10 years right there...I still remember it like it was yesterday. THAT was the best team in the NFL that season.

I agree !!!! But Ben Effn Dreith was a great part of those disappointments.

I recall getting destroyed by the Chargers in '63 by Taylor, Lowe and Bambi. I recall losing out on a trip to the First Superbowl in '66 because a falling down drunk Namath played out of his mind against us. Of course there was Ben Effn Dreith!

Then there was the ignominy of our very own Nick Buoniconti captaining the No Names to an undefeated season. Or our very own MIke 'Spike' Haynes doing the same for the Raiders. And of course "da '85 Bears" doing their Super Bowl shuffle with our own Pro Bowl Defensive Tackle, that we cut.

1976 team. Not that I want to remember that moment.....

The Pats sucked in 1975 after showing promise in '74.

It all kinda mirrored the breakout '94 season followed by the retreat '95 season followed by the rebreakout '96 season. Or the 2001-2002-2003 seasons.

Sometimes these dances are step forward, step back, step forward.

Lol and watch them both celebrate again. Hahahah that would have been hilarious! :D

Was that the first time they got a sack? Maybe they didn't know what to do with themselves once they were back there.

I worked with John B, a volatile Pats fan of Italian heritage. He was watching the Dreith robbery at home with his extended family including his Sicilian grandfather from the old country who spoke little English. The RTP bogus call is made and big John B jumps up, pounds his fist into the table, smashing it and his poor grandfather starts screaming in Italian totally confused at what the hell was happening.

I find it comical that Raider fan gets more salty about the tuck rule (which they had coming to them. See Dreith, Ben) than getting taken to the woodshed by their ex coach's team in Super Bowl...

Denver and Miami time.
