Love me some LaGarette!
Powerful runner with speed and creativity.
Good signing.Glad to see him back.
Wonder if you'll see him on the field with Jonas at the same time for anything.

Gee I wonder how they could do that since they spent right up to the cap with all those bonuses potentially due and blah bla blah blah blah blah blah???

Let it go dude. We all think you suck.

Blount can likely help the team sure, but he quit on his teammates in Pitt and I wish the Pats had just left him out to rot. The 'Patriot Way' takes another kick in the mouth. Blount is a bad seed, he had his shot at redemption and pissed it all away. Can't imagine Big Daddy Kraft likes the way this move will sully the Patriot name in the national view.
Really? Blount behaved perfectly well while he was here. I wasn't aware that leaving the field ONE SNAP early was a capital offense that required banning from the game for life.

do you guys think they have 4 backs up for detroit, etc --- bolden, blount, vereen, + gray?

Exactly. He cant go 5 minutes without making himself look stupid.

And why is anyone even responding to Brady's Butt Boy post? I mean really? "Brady's Butt Boy?" I hope this poster is not over 10 years old.

I see no reason why Blount couldn't go Sunday. Knows the system and while he didn't play was active for the MNF game.

No reason?
How about not practicing at all this week with the team?
Usually that keeps a player from playing.

I would not, except in an emergency, risk a player who has zero reps with the team from playing. Mistakes on play calls (holes, blitz pickup, etc) are likely to happen.
Why play him Sunday with Gray healthy???

He cleared waivers so they probably didn't want him.
Not sure that one follows the other. It could just as easily mean that they didn't want to assume his Pittsburgh contract and hoped to sign him once he cleared waivers. But Blount liked it here last year and wasn't all that eager to leave in the first place.

I think that is technically the cut for Siliga, so still someone else will need to go.
Siliga doesn't need to be activated for three more weeks.

Nobody wanted Edelman either at one point. For a lot less money.

Relax. You're acting as if he tried to run over his girlfriend with a truck or something.

He doesnt have to be, but he is practicing and clearly deserving of a roster spot.

He's practiced for two days. I highly doubt they have plans to use him in this game, so why activate him now? I wouldn't expect them to activate him before they're ready to use him.

I welcome him back with open arms. Blount trama all day

I don't know if he is ready or not. Its not like he laid on a couch for 6 weeks then starting practicing. I assume he is close to ready. Whether its this week or not, we will still need to cut a player to activate him.
I'd like it to be sooner rather than later, because he is a good player.

I agree that I'd like to see him back. My memory though, which could easily be wrong, is that when they bring players back from injury, they tend to do it slowly. Given that and the fact that this is a very big guy coming off a foot injury, I fully expect them to use most, if not all, of the three weeks getting him up to speed before deciding to activate him.

Amendola wont be doing kick offs anymore. And Felger and joke have someone to rail on for a while.

Don't think so….didn't Blount pass through waivers? Those teams should have put a claim in on him if they were going to.

Fair enough, but if you claim someone off waivers, aren't you stuck with their old contract?

Seems like there was a number of small issues which added up.
