Takeaways:

Revis and Arrington have been among the best at their positions
Ryan is inconsistent
Browner has been solid, but prone to getting torched (yards per attempt above 10)
In limited time, Dennard was terrible.
Butler has been solid as a rookie CB.

Thoughts?

Arrington has vastly improved. Maybe Dennard has seriously gotten benched in favor of butler

Completion Percentage
Revis 26-51 (51%) Ryan 20-31 (65%) Browner 14-23 (61%) Dennard 14-21 (67%) Arrington 12-27 (44%) Butler 10-19 (53%)

Plus Plays Int, Pass Breakups, Minus Plays TD

Revis +6-1 (+5) Ryan +6-2 (+4) Browner +2-1 (+1) Dennard -2 (-2) Arrington +2-1 (+1) Butler +1-1 (0)

Yards per Pass Completed

Revis 26 for 351 (13.5) Ryan 20 for 275 (13.75) Browner 14 for 252 (18) Dennard 14 for 192 (13.7)
Arrington 12 for 160 (13.3) Butler 10 for 145 (14.5)

Pretty much agree with the author of thread. If I was to rank the CB I would go Revis - Arrington - Browner - Ryan - Butler - Dennard

McCourty must have terrific stats.

While it'd be hard to disagree with your comment that "Arrington has vastly improved," it could also be the fact that he isn't being asked to play outside, and is being best used to his skillset.

As far as the second part of your comment, that's what's been reported for several weeks now, although most of us are still hesitant to believe it!

I think Arrington has played outside, but not the majority. But his improvement makes his deal all that much better

Very true. I should've said "isn't being used outside as much."

Did Denard seem like he was playing poorly? Is it possible Butler is just playing that much better?

I think most of Browner's yards came from Fleener this past Sunday.

Curious about some of Revis' stats. I know there have been examples of Revis letting his receiver go in a zone scheme and then the receiver completing a catch when in someone else's zone of responsibility. It's confused some of the TV networks when posting Revis' stats (as in the Colts game last week).

Seeing Arrington's success quantified doesn't surprise me. We don't often hear his name called. His role isn't sexy, but he's getting it done.

Someone brought up McCourty, and they were right to do so. He's been fantastic.

Great thread.
