My critisicm came early based on these passed practices

I missed that. "passed" practices. As in "past" like Andy pointed out.

You calling others "mensa?"

I am embarrassed for you.

Yeah, the team that signed Manny Sanders really ripped the Pats to shreds a couple of weeks ago and are ahead of them in the playoff race.

They Sanders decision was about signing Edelmen, signing both would have been redundant and what they really needed was a physical possession receiver to complement their other receivers, and that's why they signed LaFell. Sanders is a really good player but overall i would rather have Edelmen.

Is that your comeback? Your self portrait? Not sure what you are getting at.

Something from the passed maybe? lol

Manny Sanders is one.
And I like Lafell nothing against him.

Again, there are ramifications here. You couldn't have both of them (and dont really need both of them) without borrowing cap money from the future. The team does not believe in doing that. Perhaps you do, but I'll go with the teams philosophy over yours.
If you chose Sanders over Lafell, you would still have to borrow some money from the future, and what more would you have gotten? A few more catches? Perhaps, but I'm not sure that would make us better since they would otherwise go to someone else, such as Edelman. And you wouldn't have the best blocking WR in the NFL, and would have another small receiver instead of the 6'2 208 lb LaFell who has added a dimension to this offense.

Just my opinion, but this thread has gone on long enough.

I've made half a dozen attempts at responding to this thread and the above is the only thing I think actually adds anything constructive to the conversation.

It's all "in-sink".

Pardon me, but given the OP, exactly WHEN was this thread something to be taken seriously?

Has it veered downward from the top-shelf insight of Post #1?

well, as ol' Ray Ray 19 would say..."don't have a canary..."..it's just a thread to "whistle gypsy" in...

Unfortunately the focus has shifted from debunking bad misconceptions to name calling and back biting.

I'm going to ask you again have you read this thread??? Are you ****ting me??

The only time its mentioned is when I bite back.

I can't help it, some these guys can't take yes for an answer.

I'm sure all that is true, great speculation. I'm sure there were plenty of excuses for the Reche Caldwells and others signings and non signings . I'm sure there were a lot thought and logic put into it.
Its all sold very nicely, the problem its going to get second guessed when it doesn't work and deservedly so.
Just like calling an audible on 4th and a foot and throwing a horrible pass.
It deserved to be 2nd guess. I'm sure you can come up (not that YOU will or want to) with some flowery logical reason reason why it wasn't.
When you don't get result its going to get questioned. And all the excuses can be backfitted.

Couple of things and I'm done with the thread. I wouldn't be alone with my thoughts if they were 5-5 . and knowing this board the thread would have been long gone. I showed up when I was wrong.
The bottom line is they are the best organization in the NFL and maybe all of sports. But they haven't won in ten years and they've left a few championships out there.Personal and how money was spent and even the draft can be questioned. I'd like to know when was the last time they DIDN'T win because they spent too much money the year before?

I don't see where I said it was only you.

You seem to have the expectation that everything the team does on and off the field must be perfect, which is a ridiculous standard.
What you are doing is taking the student who got a 95 on a test and berating him for the 5 questions he missed, calling him a failure, and saying there was a kid who got a 45 who didn't miss those 5 questions, so the kid with the 95 is crap.
Everyone understands that no team makes every perfect transaction and gets 100% of the best players, and cannot be compared unfavorably to some teams in some areas.
Few, such as you, turn it into abject failure and cite a few decisions as bad as your 'proof'.
There is a Grand Canyon sized gap between 'second guessing' and what you have done in this thread.

But they aren't.
If you say they suck and they don't, you would be right if they did. Great logic.

No one is entitled to a Championship, so saying they 'left them out there' is silly.
They don't spend too much money, so your question is pointless.

running around...i ican't stand it....she's running around with my heart..

what song is that? Eric Clapton sings it...I think.

Like THAT point won't get laughed off this forum?

SB 36 says hello.

Look, obviously you have some fetish with prematurely judging things. Good for you.

Everyone else knows the season is 16 games long.

It's exactly that, "I Can't Stand It."

And if they were 5-5 the perception of me being right would have been part of that reality. And this thread would have been closed.

I based my argument on what was going on at the present time and on what they did in past years with guys like Amendola for Welker. Caldwell for Branch to name a few. THOSE ARE LEGITIMATE ARGUMENTS on piss poor cheapskate moves which was the genesis for the thread in the first place.
Luckily they have Tom Brady to put up with that ****. Thats another huge factor.
THEY HAVE BEEN RIGHT MORE THAN WRONG. Including, apparently this year. Which i have conceded too.
But when your hall of fame QB was getting crushed every play and your defensive line is like a sieve.I reserve and earned my right to *****. Looking at what money was spent and on who the past practice of looking cheap comes to mind is fairgame. Nobody is happier than me than me that they righted the ship.

And IF the dog hadn't stopped to crap he would have caught the rabbit.

So I can argue the Geno Smith is a good QB and when you tell me I am wrong, I can say if he played like Brady I'd be right?
They are not 5-5, and you were wrong.

They paid Amedola more than Welker asked for.

I give up. You just don't want to learn. I tried.
