Thanksgiving- my favorite holiday to eat turkey, drink beer and watch football. Any thoughts on the games? Personally I'm not as excited about the match-ups this year but it is always fun to watch anyway. Lions will probably beat Bears, Seahawks will most likely beat Niners, but the Cowboys-Eagles game is the best match-up, looking forward to that one.

Some good matchups. But nothing will ever beat the butt fumble.

That's a game we'll tell our kids and grandkids about every Thanksgiving when watching football.

I think they should replay that game every Thanksgiving, make it a new tradition, just like they broadcast "A Miracle on 34th Street" every Christmas!

I can still recall that I hadn't finished laughing about the but fumble when the kickoff bounces right into Endleman's hands.

I agree. Sort of like how every Thanksgiving they play that song Alice's Restaraunt on the radio, they can play a re run of the Pats-Jets game.

In my case that just made it even harder to explain what had just happened to my sis' father-in-law, who was only half-watching .

NYJ, causing joyous hypoxia since 1960...

Wish i could watch football this thanksgiving, but im working. Cant pass up 35 an hour. Only down side is that i miss my daughters first thanksgiving.

I'm so glad the Pats aren't playing on turkey day this year. I have a lot of cooking to do that day!

I don't get why there is no AFC game this year...even if it's not your team, there might at least be playoff implications. The games are decent, but I wish there was at least one AFC team in play.

Ah Buttfumble, the only sporting event to make my stomach hurt from laughter!

Thanksgiving isn't a thing over here but it's safe to assume all us Euro-Patsfans were thankful for that game!

I have alot of things to do with the family on Thanksgiving. However, I sure I can squeeze in a game or 2 especially the 49ers game.

When the scheduled was developed the NFC was thought to be the clearly superior conference and, of course, it was simply assumed that Denver and their Savior would be undefeated in the AFC. Thus, playoff implications in the AFC would be irrelevant, since no one other than Denver could possibly be their SB rep. Therefore, any Thanksgiving game involving two AFC teams would be meaningless and any NFC/AFC match up would have the NFC team winning 72-0 at the half. Just kidding...sort of...

In the UK we don't celebrate thanksgiving but me and my football friends always get together for food and watch the first 2 games fortunately I am hosting this year so get to see all of the final game at 1am. The Cowboys Eagles will be a good one.

The Lions will devour the Bears.

The Eagles will be shot down by the Cowboys.

IMHO the only game that may turn out to be worth watching will be the Seattle vs SF game.

I don't like the NFC.

I can't wait to see if Mark Sanchez pulls off yet another embarrassing Thanksgiving day fiasco with the Eagles. No doubt he will do something stupid.

This is exactly what I was thinking as well. Before the season started people were raving about how competitive the NFC was going to be this season, and how Manning would get his super bowl ring, yada yada. Now the NFC mostly sucks, the Broncos are beginning to slide and lo and behold, the Patriots are the top team in the AFC.

Ah, the memories. Only Benny Hill music could do it justice.

St John's Prep@Xaverian should be a helluva game.
