bedard on grey. last year blount did the same thing to the colts so at first he thought grey was just a plug in, that they have the colts number when it comes to running on them. but after watching coaches tapes thinks there is something to work with. grey is quick, powerfull, and has good vision
I don't know if he is super accurate. He threw a lot of short passes on Sunday and his deeper balls float which gives his receiver time to get under it. I think he is usually a great decision maker, but I question his accuracy.
This was the part that stuck out to meso far. Seemed to think they have something and it wasn't just having the colts number whoever was in there.
I think his strength is his timing and accuracy. But the ducks could very well help receivers get under the ball. But manning doesn't have the arm to threaten deep that often.
i thought he looked good in TC, (just saying) but lets not put him in canton just yetCan I take a moment for a gratuitous self-pat on the back due to my saying even after the Denver game that I thought the kid looked like a future starter? Even when he was going nowhere two weeks ago, I really liked how Gray ran.
Yes, I know that pat on the back will become a slap in the face if he carries 4 times for 9 yards next week, but I'll take small victories when I can.

There's some serious tension going on it feels between Felger and Bedard.

The 2 ints were a direct result of the pressure Tom was feeling. Tom could have stayed out and delivered both, but he also could of been done for that game, or many more games to come because he would have been crushed by the d linemen. I remember watching both plays, the duress Tom felt was the direct cause of the ints, it isn't even debatable.
Now Tom made a bad decision on the second int because of the pressure. Just a rare TFB brain fart.
Yep. Even before the INT it was clear that not allowing the Colts to score was more important than us scoring (up 11, getting the ball to start the 3rd qtr). Run the ball, get the first down - if you fail keep the clock moving or make them use a timeout. If we'd gotten the 1st down then get more aggressive.3rd and 1 from your own 17 with 2 minutes to go in the half?
When your running game is demolishing the Colts?
Just throwing it in that situation was a mistake. I was apoplectic when that happened.

Just throwing it in that situation was a mistake. I don't care if Gronk was open. Dialing up that play at that moment was horrible game management. They were up 14-3 and getting the ball at the beginning of the 2nd half.

I have to agree here. The upside - an extra 7 points in a game you were dominating and had possession to start the next half - wasn't nearly worth the downside. At that point, the only way for Indy to get back in the game was pretty much what happened. I would have been perfectly content with a likely 17-3 or 21-3 lead a few minutes into the third quarter and I suspect Bill felt the same way.
