Never too early to start saying it, right?

Main talking points in the days leading up to this game:
  • Revis/Megatron. Who wins the heavyweight matchup?
  • Pats O-line/Lions D-line. Can the interior of Wendell/Stork/Connolly hold up against the thugs lead by Suh?
  • Will Gray continue to impress after his breakout game?
  • Will the Pats be able to cover the Lions TEs of Ebron/Fauria/etc.?
  • Will the Lions be able to cover Gronkows....actually it's not even worth asking if we know the answer :D
I think this game has the potential to be a close one, but I feel as though the Pats matchup well against Detroit and should be able to eek out the W

Pats rarely lose at home I see us winning by 10 -14 pts. Revis vs Johnson is the matchup I'm dying to see

you're god damn right we;re on to Detroit. That was a great win but it means shtttt till the next opponent!

Lions looked awful today. They will have dramatically improve to even make it a game.

Which quarter is ihedigbo gonna go down?

I called the Bears blowout and I'm calling this game a blowout too.

The Lions D will be exposed.

Revis v Megatron
Arrington v Tate (with McCourty)
Browner or Collins v Ebron

Perhaps?

i don't have the numbers, but stafford has a abysmal record against teams with winning records.
he's also mistake prone. we'll force a few turnovers and kill this team.
go patriots!

they are soft on the road, this is going to be a blowout.

Detroit bosts a defense that is playing very well and an offense that plays inconsistently. They have a QB that is somewhat overrated, a slightly broken Megatron and no running game of which to speak. I'm not saying it will be easy and I don't take anything in the league for granted, especially winning, but a focused NE team should handle business at home. I'm a lot less worried about Detroit than I was about the Colts going into that showdown (admittedly). That D line is what scares me most.

Think Revis will be on Tate...
Browner on Megatron...

The second coming of Roman Phifer, Jamie Collins, will be on one of the TE's...

Early weather forecast of 49 degrees and clear will not help the Pats...

The Lions have talent but they could very well be 0-4 in their last 4 games as Miami, New Orleans, and Atlanta all choked at the end of their games.

Real glad it is a nice early 1PM kickoff.

And Fox already has AZ @ Seattle in the 4PM slot so they won't get flexed.

Detroit's defensive front makes this far from a slam dunk.

Yes We Are! Great win last nite, needed it as a Statement Win, on road in a dome where it haunted us.
Like our chances vs Detroit, just keep Brady upright and no pressure comin up middle to disrupt timing and hit'm with different formations.

Do your Job....and Pats win :)

That's always been the genius of BB - the extraordinary things that can be achieved if 53 guys all focus on doing their job and do it, without regard to anything else.
