Props to Jonas Gray

Gray's effort is exactly what we need to compliment passing game and put games away with 1st downs Brady taking a knee. When we had RBs Smith & Dillion we won it all. I know it's only one game but that's how it begins. Great Statement Win on road. Road to SB runs through Foxboro/Gillette. It's up to Pats.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I heard Felger say Gray had more rushing TDs than the rest of the NFL today.

I think the stat was he had as many rushing TD as the other 31 teams combined today.

props to him on his record night. I hope he can keep it up the rest of the year, this team need a running game if they want another ring

Will be interesting to see if he can follow up with a handful of consistent games. He was amazing, but obviously it was part of the game plan to abuse the Colts Run D.

I hope that he will not fade as fast as he emerged when we run more traditional sets (3WR, real 2TE).. could be invaluable weapon in January

what was great was it was not a LeGarrette Blount type game 12 att for 170 yards he had 38 att that means BB really trust him with the football

What a surprise

He looked good. Likes his calm and vision when runing.

If he has a few more good games the keep or release ridley threads will start lol. Him and ridley would be a nice two headed monster Imo.

Yep. It wasn't a revelation to see that Jonas Gray was a pretty good runner during TC and in the preseason.

A power running game is an attitude- as much as having the personnel and talent to execute.

IMO being able to have success running the ball when the other team KNOWS you are running is key.

How about GREEN-Ellis ? or has that been mentioned....Pats already have White at RB...

Pats could have a Crayola backfield :)

Love the kid. Love his story.

It gets even better - - today from Peter King:

"One more note about Gray, from Alex Flanagan, who covered Notre Dame as the sideline reporter for NBC for several years. It’s a humorous one—I think. Gray’s an amateur comedian. He once opened for Dustin Diamond—Screech, onSaved By The Bell—at a comedy club. If I were Gray, I’d probably keep that to myself around Bill Belichick".

:D :D :D

There's a couple of Browns available in the draft

RB is a unique position in that the backups are sometimes better than the starters, they just need to be given a chance (BJGE was 5th string during 2008-2009).

I know it was one game, but Gray's vision is better than Ridley's IMO. I think he could prove to be a more gifted BJGE, which would be an upgrade over Ridley.

Also, as much as I get enamored watching Gordon/Gurley, etc, but what is the point of drafting a RB high when we find BJGE, Gray, Woodhead?

Gray looked like DeMarco Murray what a game. He looked good vs the bears as well. Need to keep feeding him.

Also to think Colts gave up a 1st for Trent Richardson what a joke. Probably couldn't have gotten 25 yds running behind our line.

Gray and Vereen really compliment each other well in the backfield.
I love the power of Gray and finesse of Vereen.
