I'm not sure about 'best'... time will tell... but that last game sure did bring back memories of 2003. :D

That 2003 team is in one of my favorite sports team of all-time. What I liked about them the most was that they were unassumingly dominant. The weren't the 1998 Yankees or 07 Pats-type team. Including playoffs they were 7-2 when scoring 21 points or less. When they needed plays- they made them. Immensely talented but grinders to the core.

The fact that they were physically abusive with NFL offenses was so freaking awesome.

People remember Law, Rodney and Wilson....by Ty Poole was outstanding that year. Not quite a shutdown CB but had a career year and made a bid difference in a ton of games.

That playoff game against the Colts was one for the ages. We could not get into the end zone until the end... five field goals!!! ...and the D just shut Manning down.

Well Reggie, I hope they play like the best New England Secondary against the Colts too!

But really....Wayne is a class act. Always liked him even when it was him manning and harrison...(well i hated him in season for obvious reason :) )

From top to bottom, I do think its the best myself.

2003 was damn good with All pro players like Ty and Rodney, plus Poole had a breakout year, and Eugene Wilson and Asante Samuel really stepped up their games as rookies, but the depth in this secondary is deep. Obviously besides Revis and Browner, you got guys like Arrington and Dennard that were starters for years here down the depth chart, or to the point that they're healthy scratches.

Wasn't he strongly suspected of shooting someone in relation to his carwash business? Don't sound too classy to me...

Edit: my mistake, that was Marvin Harrison. Getting old and senile. I agree Reggie is a class act.

Actually, Givens caught a TD on NE's very first drive. From that point on, though...

Wow, you're right. Did not remember that correctly at all. And I completely forgot about the safety in there too.

Advice to you kids out there:

...don't get old. :D

Give yourself a break. You might have been conflating it with the Division game from the following year.... and even Mike Reiss on this week's PAT said that 4th and 2 happened in the 2006 AFCCG! In other words, you're in good company. :)
