So it seems inevitably every year there comes a point where hoping for a Jets loss becomes counterproductive. So is this the week we begin pulling for them? I mean I have no faith that they would benefit that much from a high draft pick as they would probably just pick a 10th d-linemen. But, isn't it more fun for us for them to continue that 8-8 mediocrity. Plus it doesn't hurt that they may help the Pats with better playoff standings by maybe stealing some wins from other AFC teams. And, if that all isn't enough it just continues the cyclical Super Bowl, fire everyone, Super Bowl, fire everyone delusions of Jets fans. What say you? Is it time?

Definitely rooting for them against the Steelers. My dream is that they pull together just enough to keep the Ryan and Idzik show going. We can't get this kind of entertainment on cable.

Nope never. Nope nope nope.

Record setting loss is in store for them today.

Jets

Suck

Suck

Yep. I know it's unsavory to root for the green, but a 7-9 record with a "strong finish" that keeps them picking in the middle of the pack -- and thinking they don't really have to upgrade key positions -- is ideal.

It's a win-win proposition with the Green Beans the rest of the way. Whatever happens is fine with me (although I would appreciate Dogkiller Ron Mexico suffering a painful career-ending injury).

1. Mariota may be one of the few draftees with the right mental makeup to survive in that circus. I'd rather the Jets not get him at this point.

2. A Steelers loss helps us and the Browns. How can a pats fan not root for Hoyer to lead his hometown team to their first division title in 20 years?

Id rather play the Steelers in the playoffs than the Browns. Im not a believe in the Steelers. Brady has his way with the Steelers D and the Offense is playing way above expectation.

I actually think the Browns D is good and I expect the offense to explode once Josh Gordon returns.

Yeah. I don't think I can actively root for them. Just hope they somehow end up with another number in the win column and pretend it didn't happen.

I'm rooting for them. Being a Duck fan it would break my heart to see Mariota on the Jets. OTOH the Jets may be one of the teams to be foolish enough to take Winston over him.

one problem with actively rooting for the JEST: if they do manage to win, you're left with this awful unclean feeling.

I'll only start rooting for the Jets when they start challenging the Bucs for the #1 overall pick. Bucs needs to be the clear last place(no tie) so we can have the 1st 4th round pick. I'd love for the Titans to get the 2nd overall pick(no tie). Otherwise the Jets can SUCK SUCK SUCK.

they have no chance today.
big ben is going to light them up yet again. three straight afc player of the week incoming.

I'm hoping the Jets go with Winston in the first and Noah Spence in the second.

Hoping for wins from the

Jets
Chiefs
Lions
Titans
Raiders
Giants
Rams
Bears
Falcons
Jaguars
49ers
Panthers (tomorrow)

There probably aren't a lot of wins there, but that would be a great week for the Patriots.

I'm hoping for a Jets win and a huge day and rest of the season for Harvin. Percy has the biggest cap hit, plus the added bonus that with a rookie QB next season(best options Manziel or Winston) he can cower the rookie and demand the ball every other play, that in turn helps divide the team while keeping them at 8-8.

Not to forget if the JESTS finish the season on a high then the will retain FATSO and THEN........

Fatso and the JETS management :
