OT: GM Says Rice told Goodell he hit Janay

This is a disciplinary hearing in front of a neutral arbitrator......in the offices of former U.S. District Judge Barbara S. Jones. Courts aren't involved......a NFL/NFLPA sanctioned private arbitration.

I'm not sure if anyone knows if this can't be appealed to higher court or alternatively that Rice can't make an original application to the court based on this issue though. This is essentially an employment contract issue when you break it down. So whatever internal mechanism might be in place to resolve the dispute, I don't think that will preclude Rice from making an application to the court following this if he feels the contract wasn't being followed.

But I could be wrong.

I don't know that answer either.....but if so, I would say Mr. Rice has some leverage. Roger doesn't want this dirty laundry aired publicly.

Lotta intrigue here. I'm sure Ozzie had a sit down with Biscotti and told him what he would say. What was discussed in that meeting and what Biscotti told Goody afterwards and his reaction to what Ozziewould say would be priceless to learn.

What is fascinating here is how two lawyers in the same meeting have different notes. In my experience, lawyers don't screw up on note-taking. What you say is what they document. How they contort what you say is a different matter altogether.

Who says the league notes were written by a lawyer? (Or the nflpa's for that matter). Maybe they were go-to-hells notes (written in crayon a week after the meeting) ;)

Please please throw around a perjury charge judge Judy! You don't even have to fine him much, but just make the chg stick so we can lose this jerk!

The general public is so utterly brain dead that this is nothing more than blip on the radar. The next media hyped Jodie Arias/OJ murder trial or school shooting will "capture" the public's imagination and that will be the end of the Ray Rice/Goddell saga. The mock outrage crowd has already moved on.
