Brady Mic'd up vs. Broncos

Someone says it was the best punt return in league history. Is it?

No. Not even close. I've seen several others that ended games and were wilder than that.

However, Brady does say in that video that Edelman is the best punt RETURNER ever.

Edelman is currently t19 in league history with 4 punt return TDs, 62nd in yardage (1572) and t3 all time in average return yardage at 12.6 (12.8 is #1 all time). So he's well on his way to being one of the greatest punt returners the league has seen.

Those numbers are from Pro Football Reference.

For those having trouble with the video playing- I had issues on my desktop, but my android phone was able to play it without issue. Worth a try, YMMV.

There were several long moments during the 4th quarter of that KC game when the MNF cameras were just focusing on Brady sitting there on the bench like a condemned man. It was almost operatic/Greek Tragedy.

If the Pats, in fact, do win the SB this year (yeah, I know "one game at a time....") the season video will be a dramatic classic.

Yep. My initial reaction to seeing Brady sitting there was seeing a man completely embarrassed, pissed off and searching for answers.

Again - no proof but I do think shortly after that game, he (privately) went to BB and some of the coaches and teammates and had a serious heart to heart about their commitment to putting the best players on the field (see playing Gronk, o-line, LaFell) and calling the best plays that put the team in the best position to win...and it started with himself on Monday night.

So I do think there was something to Mort's report but not to the blown out of proportion story that the media ran with.

There's something wrong with that video on nfl.com. IE, Firefox & Chrome all can't seem to show it. All I see is distorted video and no audio. On Firefox, I get a message that Flash has crashed.

I had to use my phone to get it to work.

tom goes out there and has fun. doesn't have to fake anything like that prick manning who orchestrates his td celebrations. total clown.

go pats!

I just hope Brady's Mom doesn't catch the F bomb they edited out. He caught hell from his Mom in 2001 for his bad language.

One of the first times I ever briefly liked Lebron James was when his mother interfered with something from courtside during the playoffs, he swore at her, and then told the press that he was glad it hadn't been Mother's Day.

Brady was right to be mad at the ref stopping them snapping it when the offense ran back in on 4th down, they let them sub the delay was unnecessarily long. They should have been able to snap it as soon as they were down they didn't need that extra 10 seconds they were given.

I got it working in Safari, though not Chrome or Firefox, FWIW.

I think I heard "best punt returner" which I guess he might be statistically (clearly, Hester was a better PR, but he was nothing like the player elsewhere that Jools is).

Yea she got fired up after Delonte West dumped her.

Edelman [to brady] after punt return: where you in the end-zone right now?

i was on the floor. i love that guy.

see if this works....

Wow, this one is different from the Inside the NFL one, and has some nice gems.

4:08: TFB, upset because the refs delayed him from snapping the ball during that punt team substitution fire drill, walks past Grapps, and Grapps gives him a sarcastic ribbing, "Don't fight anyone Tom" and mockingly pats him on the shoulder. All TFB can do is fire back with a disgusted "Yeah." lol. Grapps got jokes.

5:06 TFB gets into some good natured trash talk with Talib. These two still have respect for each other.

6:25 TFB and Josh give some additional insight into the read on the Gronk one handed catch.

Awesome video. Do you have other Turning Point videos for previous games this season? This is the first one I've seen.
