Ciao, mio caro amico!

I'm so sorry I didn't know you were there for the Chicago game. So were we (but in the nosebleed seats at the top). Delighted you had two such great games.

Did you get to try any of the Italian restaurants in the North End while you were here? I'd be curious to hear what you thought of them.

Awesome you got to see two awesome games!

Did you gorge yourself on American football food? (Buffalo wings, Mozzarella Sticks, etc?)

I would love to be able to hit a game these days, but I'm happy to finally have a good job and can't afford the trip this year.

Sounds like you really took the grand tour Pat, good for you.

If it weren't for that **** stomping sunday id be looking at a really ****ty week with no power til Friday. but its all worth it!

it was great my friend...the weather was also so good till saturday, then i had two rough days...pity because i planned the Cliff Walk in Newport but it was IMPOSSIBLE to walk as the wind was massive...also the Old Sturbridge Village would have been better with sun...

but i found in Cape Cod and awesome weather

Cape Cod is really a wonderfull place...i loved it...

if i was there before i would have been to Vermont but it was too late for foliage...

It was nice to hear that you had a great time here. My oldest son has spent much time in Italy and they've treated him wonderfully.

Go Pats!!!

Sounds like you hit some great spots. I used to like to take the boat from Boston to Ptown and ride bikes. Great people watching at sidewalk cafe's, band on the boat and no driving! "Interesting" nightlife, quite different from daytime. Hmmm, don't want to explain that.

Martha's vineyard is great, reachable by ferry from at least two different areas and you can bring a bike or car (but don't, it's small and so nice to get away from traffic, hopefully). If you can't make it to Vermont, western mass is beautiful, around Amherst, scenery, colleges, very nice. Tanglewood further west has the Boston symphony on the lawn.

Kancamagus highway in NH has the most dramatic foliage, but it's nice many places, depending on the week. North shore is great too, all the way up to southern Maine (at least) thought the water gets pretty cold.

Hope you can make it back again!
