Biggest threat in the AFC

I rather play anyone but the Broncos and Ravens come January. Not saying the Pat's cant win, but I rather not be on a roller coaster of emotions those nights.

If we stay healthy and play like we have been, the AFC is ours to lose.

The Broncos were missing a whole bunch of their players, too. They still won the game.

You're being willfully blind.

1-5 since Tebowmania.
1-3 with Peyton.

Only beat us while decimated, making it a wash for any sort of analysis.

We own Denver. Just admit it and move on.

The Broncos are the biggest threat to the Pats for the AFC, but I think right now the biggest threat to every other contender in the AFC is the Patriots and not the Broncos.

The Patriots got their asses beat by Miami and K.C. this season. To act as if yesterday, Denver's only bad loss of the season, is some proof that Denver is the soft team is nothing more than acting like a homer displaying a selective memory.

As for hyping Denver, I said at the start that it's Denver and NE, and then everyone else. Nothing has changed that.

Gotta hand it to you.

You never miss the opportunity to look like an imbecile.

Had you ever bothered to watch this stuff vs showing up here in your clueless know it all costume; you just might possibly realize that Denver is soft. Watch two Seattle games, yesterday, and last November.

If you can't process that, I don't know what to say.

Injuries are a different matter but that creates problems vs any team......that it an individual review.

26-16, and I notice you want to make that game a "wash", but you don't say the same about the OT win earlier in the season, where the oddity of all the turnovers (7) combine would be just as valid a reason to make it a "wash".

I concur with your realistic analysis. The Pats were and- maybe still are, vulnerable to a team able to dominate our Offensive line with good solid RBs. One that also has a respectable passing game too.

I suspect that the situation with our Offensive line is much improved. I also think that the Defensive line is also much improved. Having two certified big dogs at DT, alongside Vince is considerably different than before. For the life life of me, I still don't understand why a talent like Alan Branch was just sitting there available for BB to sign.

I think a talented big run-stuffer DT, is talent that every team would want. I was surprised he played as much as he did against the Broncos. But Vince did get breathers for a change, and the Broncs didn't run in his absence.

Denver didn't play the Patriots in the AFCCG. They played a mix of Patriots and guys brought in to replace numerous injured Patriots. If they can't beat Brady to Gronk, they can't beat the Patriots.

Yes, Denver can beat us when a minority of our star players are on the field. That's not BEATING THE PATRIOTS. It's just getting a W and going into the Superbowl as a complete fraud.

0-5 against Tom to Gronk

Wow. They're really dangerous. /sarcasm

Ok, you're delusional.

Got it.

0-3 since signing Peyton.

The facts must be delusional too

Keep the delusion alive, but the Broncos beat the Patriots in last year's AFCCG while they too were missing a bunch of players, so there's no 0-3.

We actually have a secondary now

The biggest threat is still the Broncos and I certainly don't want to play the Ravens in January.
I've felt a lot better against them ever since we demolished them last year. Plus Ray Lewis Ray Rice and Ed Reed are gone, those were three of the players that gave us the toughest time in all those matchups.

Great. So neither team was actually fielding it's marquee team, making it so useful for ignoring the fact that we always destroy them while healthy.

These aren't close games.

2012:
Peyton's NFL homecoming. Broncos got destroyed so badly, Peyton adopted numerous aspects of our offense for 2013, and took our slot receiver to help incorporate.

2013:
Give them 24-0 lead after flukey turn overs and we still win. Entire country laughs and laughs.

2014:
Epic beat down that hearkened back to Tebowmania level beat downs.

Oh, but they beat us with half our team watching the game on TV. They're so awesome.

0-5

1*-3

Those numbers don't lie.

We own Denver. Brady owns Jack Del Rio. Brady owns Manning. Belichick owns Manning. Belichick owns Fox. Gronk owns everybody.

The Denver Broncos are sweet children of the summer, and winter is coming.

Last year the AFC play offs we're laid with a red carpet for them. Injured San Diego and badly injured New England, coming off our worst off season ever, only to get absolutely humiliated in the Superbowl.

Peyton has lost to most of the good teams he's played since arriving in Colorado.

Without allowing the media to affect your better judgement, you would see that Denver is a flashier Cincinnati Bengals with a much more famous quarterback.

Biggest threat is the team with the best pass rush with their front four and very good nickel/dime packages.

Cinci- Meh
KC-Could be. Not sure about the secondary.
Indy- No
SD-Meh
Pitt- Not really
DEN- Yes but didnt show up yesterday
MIA- Meh
BAL- Meh

KC has a reasonable schedule and they get the Chargers and Broncos in Arrowhead.
They have the Bills, Cardinals, and Steelers away, but everything else is in their house, and they're only one game behind the Broncos. They also hold the tie breaker over us (not that I think that will come into play).
If they play to home standards, they should defeat Denver in their house, and probably the Chargers too.

If KC gets past the Bills, I might very well start believing that it'll be them rematching us in Gillette - not Denver.

And this will make a beautiful future NFL film for the World Champion 2014 New England Patriots.

The Broncos are still the biggest threat. They're the best team in the AFC, with the possible exception of the Patriots.

Did your TV cut out a minute into yesterday's game?
