OT :Romo has 2 fractured transverse process in back

Weedon was actually winning the Washington game for them, and until Romo came back in and blew it (although not his fault considering how much pain he was in).

That Jerry Jones is as complete an idiot as one could possibly be.

That's my point. I'm not going to sit here and call Weedon anything else other than a bust, but Dallas, if at all possible will play Romo, even to the detriment of the team long term.

You pick up a back up, you better be willing to play him, even if it's only for one or two games

The Cowboys have the talent to make a serious run here. Romo is the key to them making that serious run.

After the bye, 5 of their remaining 6 games are vs conference opponents and 4 of those games are NFC East.

Rest him and get him as healthy as possible for the stretch run.

I remember the blitz that took him out. He was laying on the turf motionless. It hurt just to watch. :(

In the scheme of back injuries, if you had to fracture something (not a chip) transverse process is the way to go. It is not a surgical repair (in most cases, assuming no other injuries). It certainly is not one step away from paralysis. Most common side effect of an improperly treated TP fracture is non-union leading to moderate levels of permanent back pain.

Jerry says that Romo will fly to london..Why spend 10 hrs flying each way and get tired ,Romo should just RELAX

With a decent shot at heading into their bye at 7-3 (vs JAX in London), and a broken collarbone from PHI starting QB Nick Foles which will keep him out for the next month or so, Dallas has a realistic shot at winning the NFC East.

With GB, DET, DAL, and PHI all playing pretty well, it's possible that either one of the SEA/SF may not get in the postseason, even as a wildcard. ARZ is playing some damn good football and has a full 2 game lead on SEA and a full 3 game lead on SF.
