Who would you have to play BB, etc in a movie?

Walton Goggins as forehead :Dwalton-goggins-2012-afi-fest-01.jpg

before he killed himself Phillip seymore hoffman.

You know, oddly enough, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the title of the thread, Chasa.

Philip Seymour Hoffman just had a way with fitting into whatever role was given to him. I could actually see that in my mind's eye.

Kevin Spacey could pull it off as well, along with Andy Johnson's idea of Clint Eastwood, but it'd have had to taken place in Eastwood's proper timeframe, of course.

Great show, by the way.
I'm crushed that it's been cancelled. Now we'll never find out exactly what was up with his wife's death.

Daniel Day Lewis is amazing at his craft.

Clint certainly has the right aura, but might be too old. Kevin Spacey might be the best choice.

DeCaprio would never fit. Brady has a brain as well, and uses it.

Edit: Somebody suggested Tommy Lee Jones; and I drop all other contenders. He IS Belichick!
That's what I thought. I think BB could bring him in to handle one of his pressers and no one would notice.

Can't really compete with Tommy Lee Jones but Martin Sheen comes close

Some great ideas for the older guys in this thread -- BB, Kraft, etc. Another one who'd make a great coach is Bruce Boxleitner

OK. I haven't guessed the code as to how to insert images here, unless the problem is something like the extra colon in that URL ...

In the task bar above where you write your comment, you'll see a number of symbols. Pick the square one. If you hover your cursor over it, it'll say "image". Just click on it, and it will open a small window where you can insert the URL of the image you want to paste in. After you add the URL, just click the button that says insert. It's that simple. :)

That's who I came here to say. If you watch him in The Master and Moneyball you can clearly see he would have been the perfect Belichick, right down to the droning monotone.

In a parody I would pick the character Dexter played by Michael C. Hall to be BB. A little mysterious and gives you nothing when it comes to what he is truly thinking.

And under the hoodie would be his classic skin tight murdering sweater for any reporter that didn't get the fact that "We're on to Cincinnati".

tosh.0 as Brady
Mark Henry as Wilfork

Damn! Didn't know that.

Kevin Spacey is gay. Good actor, but I couldn't fathom him doing BB. The others are appropriate.

His sexual orientation has no bearing on his ability to play straight characters.

And that's what I just did, again. Thanks. I conjecture this is a difficult URL. So now I'll try one with a different structure:

Yep. That worked. Not as good to illustrate my point as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bruce_Boxleitner_by_Gage_Skidmore.jpg, but still fairly plausible as a generic coach look.

If his being gay is the root cause of you being unable to fathom his playing BB, others' sexual orientation weighs far too heavily on your mind.

Spacey came to mind almost immediately and was followed quickly by Daniel Day Lewis, both of which had already been said. Others that came to mind:

Anthony Hopkins.
Gene Hackman.
Robin Williams if he was still alive.
Jim Carey. Before you laugh, watch Man on the Moon.
Not sure if they could pull it off, but Dutsin Hoffman and Tom Hanks would be interesting choices.

I'm actually surprised nobody mentioned the guy who played Emperor Palpatine.

Wait! Robin Williams is dead?

May sound Crazy but I think Bill Murray would be perfect for BB.
