What do you think Brady's post-football career will be?

Anyone who emails messages of support to Jamie Dimon is probably not a socialist. ;)

dimon's a shrewd guy.....but, "hang in there?"......like dimon would ever really be hurting

Brady reminds me of Kraft in some ways...

BB seems a little more down to earth in some ways

BB is just more my style

i like the letter he sent to Pat Tillman

i like the way he cut down on rookie "hazing" before other teams

he is hard to pin down in that regard

does anyone know his political inclination?

im pretty sure forehead is a republican and BB is a democrat

Brady has never contributed to politics and specifically said he has no party affiliation. Any speculation about his politics was because he said he enjoyed meeting Gerald Ford and because he's a relatively devout Catholic, neither of which are particularly convincing. I don't think politics is in his future.

Belichick's donated to a single candidate, $1,000 to Bernadine Healy (a moderate Republican runner-up for Senate in Ohio) in 1994. I'd guess his politics are a lot more complicated than party affiliation, however.

Kraft is a traditional moneyed Democrat.

He seemed so at ease at the Thursday Night Football desk a few weeks back. I think he'd be a natural doing what Tedy and Rodney do.

I agree but he won't, nor should he. Those guys didn't make enough money in football which is why they transitioned into broadcasting.

Tom should go the Montana route. I don't think sitting at a round table with a bunch of hacks like Dan Marino will do anything for his legacy. The true greats need to just disappear afterwards

He'll retire as a QB, but he'll stick with the team as a punter and occasional 3rd/4th & inches QB sneaker until he's 95 years old.

Its been interesting to see how elite QB's have approached their post-playing career. Trying to use this as a guesstimator for those who chose not to go into sports broadcasting as a vocation.

Montana: Real estate, promotions, public speaking, wine
Staubach: Real estate, promotions, public speaking
Tarkenton: TV host, small business investing
Elway: Broncos, various business ventures in real estate, automotive
Bart Starr: Real estate for health care facilities.
Unitas: Public appearances. Died in debt.

Personally I think TB12 has the brains, business sense, charisma and looks to do whatever he wants. I see he him above the "NFL Today" fray and doing something much more impactful with his live. Could be business I guess. According to Magic Johnson, closing a bid deal comes close to the rush of hitting a game winning shot.

Executive Vice President of Football operations for the New England Patriots.

Or maybe they will make a new coaching position just for him. The QB Sneak Coach.

Years ago, Brady talked about running for Senator someday, but then said there were too many intrusions by the media. (His friends years ago described him as a moderate Democrat.) Given his wife's activism, I suspect Brady will be involved in a nonprofit in a serious way -- perhaps for disadvantaged kids (like he is now). I doubt he'll be seen as a real estate guy or restaurant guy or broadcaster. Whatever he does will have a touch of prestige and altruism associated with it.

His wifie will probably help him out. Victoria's Secret Photographer.

Its something to do with the Patriots in my opinion.

Im thinking GM trainee, part owner, a coach of some kind.

I feel that Brady selling his west coast house and committing completely to Boston speaks very much to something being planned in the long term. Brady lived on the west cost for over a decade, I dont see why he makes this move now "just" to commit to his job as the Patriot's quarterback.

Yeah, to the above three posts suggesting Brady as part of the Patriot front office. I think this does make the most sense... somehow, he is different from that above-mentioned gang of real estate ex-qbs I can see him continuing in the Kraft-BB tradition and doing it in the same organization.

Providing he's not quickly zapped at season's end.

Coach his sons Pop Warner and High School teams. Some public speaking. Have an honorary title with the Patriots and take it easy.

Well, for what it's worth, Brady's politics are, it seems, more conservative than most New Englanders'. And he is VERY serious about the Church.
Brady's and Gisele's politics, by most accounts (including his parents' leanings), are far from conservative.

Perhaps starting a charity will appeal to the Brady's

Considering Tom plus Gisele together, Tom prolly won't need a career to pay the bills. I, too, can see Brady using his celeb status to help charitable foundations, whether his own or others.

I imagine the networks wanna see what he can do in front of the camera though.

That's exactly why I think he'll go into politics a few years after he retires. He's already acting like one.

I think Brady is smart enough, to understand that national and even state politics are just a scam to divide us so that the super-wealthy can continue to expand their fortunes without fear of the masses interfering. I also think he has the integrity to not be a part of it.
