Not sure if this belongs here ... but for us older local sports fans Bob was well liked and respected here.

No links yet ... Felger announced it emotionally ....

Prayers for Bob and his family ....

My favorite show ever was Neumy and Dale Arnold ... facts, interviews and info galore.

Wow. Best thoughts to him.

Always enjoy Neumy, especially as part of a panel or show... prayers to him and his loved ones.

Ugh. Hoping for a speedy recovery....

Best of luck, indeed.

Neumie was one of the better Sportscasters out of Boston.. Prayers for him and his family..

Sorry to hear it, but I disagree that he was one of the best sports personalities around. He was pretty awful, especially when it comes to the Pats.

Wow, that sucks. Neumy has always been one of a kind, hope he pulls through.

wish him the best

strokes scare me......had a friend have one at a young age.....28

i will keep an eye on my carotid imt as i get older......plus BP and cholesterol, of course

Neumie was ok. I was never a huge fan but at least he wasn't always trying to raise a ruckus with HOTSPORTZTAKES as does most of the local sports media...speedy recovery plus he was a local guy not a CAHPETBAGGAH like so much of the sports media scum here...

prayers sent

Sorry to hear. I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

Hang in there Neumy and best wishes.

Positive memories of Neumy in the early Pats SB runs, and later in the 2001 run.

Lived near a guy who went on a cruise in his 40s and had a debilitating stroke. Just awful.

Enjoyed Neumy and his " research nerds" when he was partnered with Dale Arnold.... he was more knowledgeable and level headed than most...

He also was very versatile as he was an announcer at major horse race events...

Also liked him as he would often speak of stopping by to see his mother and have lunch with her, something that is not all that "cool" in this day and age..

Hope he does ok...
